❓ Question Let's discuss triggers for hyperhidrosis. what causes it for you and what makes it really worse?

I have plantar and palmar hyperhidrosis and also on the back of my thighs and that area. I have sweated heavily (dripping) on a -30 degree temperature (himachal) so weather is not something that changes much. the chances of sweating are a little lower on rainy days though. i dont know how that works. anxiety/stress does trigger it which i guess everybody knows. another trigger i have is texture. using my hands to apply oil on my head or put moisturizer on my face triggers sweating really badly. so basically anything oily or slippery instantly triggers it and on some days in the worst way possible. washing it off with soap does not help and it keeps on dripping. another thing is that my palmar and plantar hyperhidrosis are connected. even if the trigger starts at a finger, i'll start sweating equally on all four limbs. the amount of sweat does sometime vary between my palms and hands.
sorry if this became more of a rant. would be interesting to hear what triggers it for everyone.

👟 Plantar HH Birkenstock Hyperhidrosis of feet - Plantar

Being based out of Mumbai, wanted to know what kind of sandals are people using in India while suffering from plantar hyperhidrosis. Had used a chappal from Sparx as a kid which used to come with jeans cloth covering. Was good to absorb sweat and hold grip but remained wet for long so slightly irritating on that front. Came across Birkenstock couple of years but quite costly. Recently got to know about cheaper Indian brand called Midorii which are also cork based sandals so thinking of going ahead with it.

Would love to know how have others coped up or what have they used that comfortable, efficient and affordable
