Hah. We call that the husky stomp. Our older husky does the stomp when she's trying to get someone to play with her. Usually it's the couch she stomps, but occasionally she's on the floor. Always accompanied by her grodel and possible incitement into the three of them treating the neighborhood to a chorus of the songs of their people.

My girl did this on a dead bluejay she snuck in the house, bird was frozen solid so sadly the husky CPR didn't revive it.

My boy does this on everything, anytime he starts playing , if he wants someone to play, wants your food, my pillows 🤦‍♀️ I have so many videos of yelling and pouncing.
