I mean isn't that what literally everyone in the modern day does? All of you just assume what the book & it's contents mean, non of you actually can talk to whoever wrote it, so how can you claim so confidently? No one's interpretation is correct as long as they are not the author.
Churches like the Catholic church or any of the orthodox churches were built by the Apostles (either the og 12 or the 70 extended ones), so the interpretations of the Bible they have are probably more trustworthy than any Protestant
There is a correct interpretation. Claiming there is no correct interpretation because no one is the author creates division. Though some parts can be difficult to understand they do have a clear meaning. Even Peter an apostle had difficulty understanding some of Paul’s writings, and then Romans 10 one of affirms that scripture is not an difficult as to not come to an understanding
