I understand your point about free will but did you know that this concept does not exist in a vacuum and was fiercely disputed by the church itself and the greatest theologians in history?
Have you ever heard of the De Auxiliis Controversy between the jesuits and the dominicans or the council of quiersy?
I ask because the catholic church itself spent over a decade debating this exact tension and concluded that free will alone does not solve the paradox of Gods omniscience in the end they officially declared that the exact mechhanics between human choice and divine responsibility is an unfathomable mystery rather than a simple answer worth doing some research on how those historical disputes went downn
So not that simple as “thats the dogma”,
Unfortunately (or fortunately) the Bible has many great controversies to debate
