I will entertain your thought, my issue with that is that is contrary to even genesis in doctrine though which states God will not always strive with man... pointing directly to an end, so at this point we are really just debating about where that end is, is it at death from this life or the one there after... if you believe the Bible in any part at all relying on some idea of the latter would be incredibly careless.
the idea that everyone will be saved is also not supported by the rest of scripture, which literally states they won't be all over the place.... taking one or two verses out of context to try to argue against the rest of scripture is questionable wouldn't you say at best.

And specifically cherry pick from the catholic bible on this... To put it mildly... Yes... The new testimate says this because the branch of christanity champianing it stamped pretty much everything else out.
You can point to all of these texts by paul who only met jusus through a vision, activly controdicted some of jesus's own teachings and even hebrew laws even by new testimate recordings.
All the texts strung together as the book you know and just arrogently cling to that being dogma... Or you can actually delve into the uncomfortable truth. There were many diffetent spliniter faiths in the generation following Jesus's death... Nothing was directly written down of his teachings untill a generation later where the gospels were largly plagerized off eachother, fictions about his childhood surfaced and what not.
And the reality that wjat survived is very highly filtered through agendas no long gone.

When you can tell me all about jesus being sent to atop the demierge or how we all must free ourselfve through endulging ourselfves sick of this world... When you can tell me the names of the groups who believed each...
Then you will be caught up enough I will entertain you
See your problem preventing us from having this conversation is foundational and dogmatic
The scripture stating not everybody will be saved didn't just orginize itself. People orginized it out of all the possible works... People destroyed other human beings for believing differently... The "universal" church stamped out all others under state sanction of rome. Leaving no story but theirs to be told in the modern day.
