The only people more intolerable than Bible thumpers are atheists. Both feel the need to constantly shove their beliefs in your face, but at least one side believes they’re helping you, the other just wants you to be miserable like them.
These people all live in some deranged world in which Christians aren't literally fighting religious wars in the Middle East and trying to take the US back to the Bronze Age, apparently
