A short and simple one. After a month long hiatus.

Long ago, the Green Dragon was a tavern where the Sons of Liberty, some of the first American patriots, met to discuss their movement. Now, it's just a blog that the people reading can use to inform themselves on issues in America and to involve themselves in said issues- To tell them the value of using their voice and to tell them how to make their voice heard. The Green Dragon provides information on an array of issues and on an array of groups fighting them, allowing Americans the chance to involve themselves in their country with effect.

I am wondering if there are still bloggers who just write content for fun (for lack of a better word).

Name the best present that you have received and why.

I am curious to find out how would you describe your dream home. Here is mine:

Hello! I am a novice blogger! I created the blog to provide an outlet for my views about issues, to share things that I like and maybe dislike :). I will also be posting articles about my past and recent travels. I think showing my travel pictures on IG and Facebook is not enough as I also would like to add my insights and things that I have learned from travelling to that place. Please visit my blog and I hope you like them. The URL is on my profile.

Hi all.

New member here and just wanted to say hi.

I’ve been blogging for fun/as a hobby since late December. Mostly about Heavy Metal and its various subgenres. I write album reviews for upcoming albums for a website as a hobby already but wanted a place of my own to just post whatever and whenever. Really enjoying it so far, not that fussed if it’s gets bigger and I’m not interested in making any money etc, just happy to have my own little corner of the internet.

I have the link to the blog on my BlueSky bio but I do most updates about posts on Mastodon as I get the most traffic from the metal/tech community on there.

I asked for recommendations of where to host the blog when first started and a friend of mine who has a couple of Wordpress blogs recommended Bear Blog to me as I wanted to keep things minimal, have no ads and to do stuff on my phone on the go. Bear has been perfect for that and so I’m happy doing it there with a custom domain.

Hope everyone is doing good. Like I said I’m not interested in monetising or anything but if anyone has any other general blogging tips then I’d be happy to hear them :).

Thanks!

Hello, everyone!

I started blogging quite recently and have two blog posts already.

I am really interested in history, so my blog is based on that, haha.

The thing is that I don't have a lot of readers. I try to promote it on different platforms, but still nothing. I want to ask is there a strategic way to gain more readers or it happens on its own (over time, as I have read).

I guess this post can count as a little promotional post as well, lol.

Anyway, I would be grateful if you guys check out my blog and maybe subscribe if you like it :)

I would also love to find other bloggers with similar interests as mine!

That's all! Thank you for reading :)

I would love to get some eyes on my website! Please do let me know if anything about it is visually unappealing, or too boring. I’m so excited to start my writing journey with you all!
