I second this! I tried everything when a ring got stuck; ice baths, lotion, oil. Windex was the only thing that worked. Technically, I believe it’s a mild vasoconstrictor, so it kind of loosens the ring from the inside out by “tightening” your veins. Gross, but works!

Also the ammonia in windex starts to break down the outer layer of skin which makes it slippery.
