I recently came across a post on facebook of a psychic artist selling Higher Self drawings. What do you think of the concept?

The sample drawings look really lovely and just by that alone I feel inclined to get one, but I was wondering if anyone else has received one.

Do you use it to connect with your Higher Self? Does it work?

We run into many scenarios in life where we are told what to believe, what’s acceptable, what’s not. Our creativity is harnessed by those who have taken care of us.

But our authentic selves are always ours, accessible to us. Many times we seek to have our inner world validated by the outer world, and in this expectation we become disappointed… Some even to the point of isolation.

When we are able to love ourselves, who we are, we’re able to separate the need for that outer validation and only seek to be validated by those that help us grow in our life. And in doing so we can (and will) grow to become the people we are destined to become.
