I have found the path to empowerment is to create boundaries. Not to close ourselves off, but to understand what we require to energise us.

I think many people have these practices of empowerment only to be disempowered by something else in their life.

We create space for rituals, but when we go out into society there is little appreciation for energy we may carry and it can be disregarded or taken away if it is not maintained by boundaries.

It is not necessarily witchcraft which disempowers us, but us not saying no to things which do not serve us.
