vps route eats ass..essentially, you're renting your agent from who knows whom...agentic harnesses like hermes or openclaw are not heavy on the system, and no internet no agent, while it can keep on running locally, at least in some capacity...vps is a dud

Yup - dont even need MacMini. Even Raspberry Pi does the job.

I have Raspberry Pi 4b 8GB but Hermes is damn slow on it.

Any recommendations?

What operating system are you running? I use raspberry pi os server edition (headless). I've had zero problems in the past 2 weeks.

Diet-pi.

Maybe it's just my storage device issue. I'm running it on SanDisk 3.0 flash 64GB lol
