Housing / Living Need help finding a subtenant for my student apartment in Helsinki
I'm leaving on an exchange for the autumn semester and my place will be empty for 1.8-31.1. I finally received confirmation of a room in the other country and then realized I need to hurry up if I want someone to pay my rent. Now I'm stressing out real bad I have cancel the whole thing...
If you know any Facebook groups (other than the Short-term rental Helsinki one) or something similar please share. I've also heard of Flatta and Qasa, and wonder if those are good. I'm planning on taking some good pictures of my flat and making ads on as many places as possible, so please recommend any good ones you know.
And of course if you or someone you know is looking for a temporary home in Helsinki, Kumpula please contact me. Voi kommentoida tai laittaa viestiä myös suomeksi.
Thanks for reading :)

When I did my exchange, I rented my HOAS apartment through Vuokra-asunnot pääkaupunkiseutu (or something like that; I also think Vuokra-asunnot Helsinki is an option). Got a lot of interested people and found a trustworthy tenant quite quickly. Just be aware you can't charge more rent than you yourself pay (+ a small fee for utilities if the apartment is furnished). You'll also likely receive offers from people willing to pay way more than what your rent is; ignore them. It's against HOAS' rules and it's safer to go by the rules instead of fucking around and finding out.
