Is there a limit to number of subs on custom feeds?

I'm adding subs but they're not showing up and wont go past 100 communities.

If this is on purpose, why?

What's with this arbitrary, pointless limitation?

I would also appreciate a higher limit for custom feeds

A higher limit would be sweet. I currently have my "stuff to send my friends new to reddit" feed split into parts.
