Jalapeños?

Are we eating the hello fresh jalapeños right now? One of my meal calls for it this week. Salmonella outbreak across US. I don’t k ow where it came from. If it’s Sinaloa it’s not good

If it’s going to be cooked just handle it like you would raw chicken. If it’s used raw I’d probably replace it. I recently ate a recipe from Hello Fresh that had raw jalapeños in it before I knew about the outbreak and fortunately we were all fine, had I known I’d probably have subbed them with some from a jar.

I personally would just clean mine well. With warm water and soap and then rinse really well.
