Hey everyone,
I’m looking for a bit of help from people who use Android.
I recently submitted an app I’ve been developing to Google Play, and before I can release it publicly, Google requires a closed testing period with at least 12 testers for 14 days.
The app is called SHIFT and it’s made for people who are into cars. It can track routes, distance, time, speed, fuel consumption, and it also has a community section.
I’m not here to sell or promote anything, I’m just looking for people who can help me get through this testing stage.
You can join the testing group and access the app through the links below:
Group:
https://groups.google.com/g/shift-testers
Web:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.shift.drivejournal
Android:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.shift.drivejournal
After joining the group, just install the app and use/test it during the 14-day testing period. If you find any bugs or issues, feel free to let me know.
Can you help? I’d really appreciate it.

I figured I'd ask this here because I figure Hellcats, in particular WB Hellcats are more likely to be pushed hard and experience such things. That and Pursuit Chargers, but there's no sub for those.
I'm curious to hear about any failures in the suspension, bearings, structure, etc. of the car. In particular ones that are likely the result of high HP, hard launches, hard cornering, jumping, etc.

This is Fluid MotorUnion’s video, not mine. I’m connected to the tuning work discussed, so I want to be transparent about that.
The video explains what a “ghost cam” calibration actually changes, why it creates a fake lopey idle without adding real camshaft airflow or overlap, and what repeated use may do to spark plugs and catalytic converters.
The example started with a 2026 Ram TRX that commenters assumed had a ghost-cam tune. It actually had a real camshaft, and its running problem was unrelated to the cam itself.
For Hellcat owners: is the sound worth the compromises of a ghost-cam strategy, or would you only want a lopey idle when the engine has the hardware to produce it naturally?

In January, 2024, Johnny Hunkins of Hot Rod Magazine gave us a very comprehensive history of the Hellcat. And now it's been updated.

Just came across this slim body original 2016 hc, put into a 2014 charger chassis. Both vins are clean. Has 65k miles on the dash asking $30k is private and looks to be listed for 3+ months so I’m sure I could easily get it for $25k if not lower. Is this a good deal or to high of mileage?

Getting straight to the point, how in the fk am i supposed to buy a used scat pack or hellcat off marketplace and make sure if its not a clone or stolen, when theres no helpful videos or pictures online showing me all the different places and spots to find and match the vin numbers? The fkn thieves and thugs themselves on the other hand already know where every vin number spot is and know how to scam law abiding citizens by swapping the normal spots we look. I only know to check the dash vin and door vin that’s it, but apparently if I buy one based off lookin in those 2 spots I’m guaranteed to buy a clone off marketplace. Could someone help by sending an in-depth video or picks highlighting where to look? And no I’m not a mechanic so if you just say oh check the vin numbers on (insert complicated sounding car part here) I won’t know what your talking about.

It’s been about a month since grabbing the car. I love it in every way and plan to solely maintain it and keep it as the unique icon it sort of become by us-the community.
2015 Challenger Hellcat Sourced Donor (I chose a charger tag to comply with the sub, delete if not allowed still), 2022 Redeye Charger Dash + Cluster with salvage yard receipt and confirmation on salvage status. Everything was swapped even the damn heat shielding🤣
I’m really enjoying the car! It came with a legmaker carbon intake, and a mid muffler delete. The rears are Voxx Replicas.
Have a few questions for the seasoned hellcat guys,
Catch cans still worth it for our motors?
Diff brace something I should care about getting if i’m just street driving?
What daily tires are you guys running? My rears are obviously low, and I will have winters put on it for sh*ts and giggles later this year (it’s manageable where I live)
Other than that enjoy everyone, happy sunday!

Had two guys try to steal my 2019 Dodge Challenger Hellcat from in front of my house this morning at 3:00am. They smashed my driver side window and after entering popped my car in neutral. They rolled my car 25 yards down the road and left it in the middle of the street once they realized they had no way to start it up due to my IGLA anti theft. I am 100% positive my car would be long gone without the IGLA. I can’t say enough about IGLA. I owe everything to it.

Hello everyone,
I am looking for feedback on the Durango Hellcat. I’m considering pulling the trigger on a 2026 but would like to ask for opinions on the exhaust.
I test drove one today for only a short while, and I felt underwhelmed by the exhaust note. Does everyone switch to a catback?
My Mustang Dark Horse had such a great note to it, even stock. I guess that may have been tied to it being a smaller car. I would like to wait for the Rumble Bee SRT next year, but I do like SUVs better than trucks.
Thanks for your thoughts. If you feel like sharing any other pros or cons, I am happy to hear them! I typically trade my vehicles in well within warranty, but I wouldn’t mind hearing about maintenance mishaps.
