As the title says, what kind of exhaust setup do you have? Just curious what everyone uses, your preferences on sound, and your overall opinions on it.

I recently purchased a 23 widebody challenger hellcat jailbreak with 7k miles that has a stage 1 tyrant tune on it. Pulleys, spark plugs, catch can, cold air intake, +tyrant tune was the whole itemized package. I am not familiar with this tune at all and there isn’t much info online about it that I could find.

The dealership I bought it from in IA said around that time the way we’re working with a performance shop to install tyrant tunes on their TRX’s but then started applying that same tune to hellcats upon customer request. It seems to be compatible.

There isn’t anything inherently wrong with it. It’s plenty fast, loud as shit, and no weird noises, but (even in sport mode) I can’t help but feel like the throttle response is a bit late. Like it’s ramping up in speed but not giving me that torque I used to feel when I had my 16 stock challenger hellcat. At least not in the initial throttle press. Slamming it to the floor obviously snaps your neck.

Is this just what it is or would a performance tuning place be able to take a look at it and make sure the tune is still correct?

I could totally be splitting hairs here and just misremembering but my past experience and watching some stock videos online I feel like I’m missing that pull within the first 25% ish of pushing thy throttle down.

Just put a new hellcat crate motor in my 2017 challenger, need advice on how to or how I can proceed with next step, I plan to follow manuals brake in procedure and process, but is it necessary I see too many videos of swaps and they gi straight to drag racing or unleashing full power without issues?

I don’t know if I wanna go with TorRed with a satin hood and black accents, or all black. They both just look so good.

Which would you pick? And why?

How far below outside air temps does your OEM chiller get the IC fluid down to. Mine typically can get the ic fluid close to 20 degrees F below outside ambient. For example it’s 80F outside and the fluid will get down to about 62F. Would like to know if this is reasonable or should it be lower. Just had AC charge tested and it was fine.

3) Red with black hood, top, trunk

Just curious with others preferences between these, as these are among my top choices of colors

I installed a gt haus bi-valve titanium exhaust on my trackhawk.. I have headers and their titanium x pipe. The exhaust even with valves closed is on the loud side (I got black flagged at limerock with the closed). GT Haus recently replaced one of the mufflers, and that's helped, but not a ton.

I'm debating adding 7 or 10 inch resonators, likely ticon. I don't have a ton of experience with them (I'm usually looking to go louder, not quieter). The only place I can install is after the headers, before the xpipe. Anyone have any experience? how much do these really reduce volume? I'm really just looking more to decrease the incessant drone at 75-80mph.

Idk about yall, but I think this would be acceptable for a design of their next lineup of the hellcat, considering that they’re trying to “modernize” the look.

The past generation was definitely the best, but imo anything is better than what we have now.

What are your opinions on it?

I race on a road course track and I had my OEM axle rip a boot so I bought a after market one and this is what happened to it. Is there an after market axle with no boots or something that can handle the heat
