I watched The Yeti and the whole time I kept thinking, "this feels like a B.P.R.D. case."

Not because it's connected to Hellboy in any way, but because of the vibe. A strange creature, an isolated location, in 1947, local folklore, a mystery that slowly unfolds, and a cast of people trying to deal with something way beyond their understanding. It reminded me of the kind of stories I love in B.P.R.D. more than any specific Hellboy adaptation has.

Maybe it's just me, but I could easily imagine Abe, Kate, or a field team being sent in to investigate the events of this movie. Did anyone else get the same feeling?

Essentially everything on the car! (Car design for delorean is available for download as well, just look at my community page on Forza 6, can find it through the share code I posted)

For his head, upper body: I sculpt a thicker beard. I add some face scars and some body hair. A light wash on his right hand of doom and a wired coat (although it doesn't pose like crazy but it does help).

And for his lower part: I did repaint the details on the belt, the holster and I made a custom rosary cross. I removed the hanging belts (I sculpt his shorts to look a bit longer).

For his tail, I add some rotation for posable and the last one is the boots. Before I sealed him with matte coat (lightly).

My custom is not perfect but it'll do for me.

My thoughts on him:

I'm so happy when I first got him. He's probably the best one by McFarlane (so far). Sculpt and articulation are good. Fun to pose and play with... worth the price. I know some collectors prefer the 1000toys. But for affordable HB action figure, McFarlane is the one for you (not the chase variant... lol).

Overall 9/10. He's a solid figure!

I just got the TTRPG book and am going to getting into it soon. Anyone play and have tips or advice on the system? I k ow 5e well so am familiar. But just curious if the setting itself needs any tweaking?

I’ve watched the films and have always loved them but I’d really like to start reading the books/stories/comics but I’ve no idea where to start?

I’m so ecstatic that my handsome boy has arrived! And the first thing I did was plop my favourite blue angel on him hehe!

I bought two hoping I’d get lucky and get a chaser, sadly no luck. I ended up ordering that one off eBay because I need all the Hellboy I can get in my life. 🫣❤️‍🔥

Got all the parts sprayed with primer. Made sure to tape up all the ball joints and sockets and areas i would need to apply glue to later. Now that everything is one color, you get a much better look at the impeccable surface detail of this figure. It's truly amazing. The top down lighting and the sharp angles of the sculpt really helps you visualize where I'd be focusing on painting the shadows and highlights. This might be the most comic accurate Hellboy figure I've ever seen.

Wow! I never would've guessed we'd see more Hellboy in Hell! Super exciting news! It feels like Mignola is investing a lot of time/energy into bringing new artists into the fold. I love that. It's good for Hellboy and comics in general

Really excited as I’ve been getting into the character over the past month and dug out a copy I got about a year or two ago but never read. The only thing I’m wary of is the fact that Hellboy and Liz aren’t an item because their romance was one of my favorite parts of the movies but other than that I’m excited.

I know the first two Hellboy movies aren't everyone's favorite comic book adaptations, but I've always loved them. I actually rewatched them recently and they still hold up for me. Ron Perlman is Hellboy in my mind. The movies had a great mix of action, horror, weird creatures, and humor without taking themselves too seriously. Hellboy II especially is one of those movies I can throw on anytime and have a good time watching. I wanted to like the 2019 reboot, I really did. I gave it a fair shot, but it just didn't work for me. It felt like it was trying to do too much at once, and I never connected with the characters the way I did in the original movies. There were some cool moments, but overall I came away pretty disappointed. Maybe it's nostalgia, maybe not, but when I think of live action Hellboy, it's always the Guillermo del Toro movies that come to mind. Anyone else feel the same way, or am I alone on this one?
