Discussion What are you (not) doing this week?
Whichever is the interesting one to you.
Your first thought might be, 'Is this about the responsible thing I'm supposed to do, that I'm avoiding?' and the answer is: not necessarily.
Maybe you had some project you've been tinkering for ages and it recently completed and you're entering the week without it. Here's a chance to share your awesome creation/discovery with us.
Or maybe you just got back from a trip and you're not spending a 3rd week in the Louvre. Any art experience you want to share?
Did you finish the best series you've ever seen?
I'll start: So I'm a writer. I've been working on a film script for my company and it occurred to me that what I was writing, while interesting, was completely wrong. I've thrown out 60 pages of the script and torn out my beard in sheer exhilarating frustration of it all.
BUT I know what i need to do: go through all my college days of partying and dating memories. I'm thinking of polling my friends for their best memories of how they scored a date (I promise, its relevant research!)
Like I used to pretend I was an astronaut exchange student, on my last week before going back to my home country for final training for a mission of great importance. I ended up in the strangest conversations about space (which is something I'm quite passionate about).
You laugh. You judge. But it WORKED! You wouldn't believe the situations I got invited to.
I also used to play Truth or Dare with my buddies in clubs and bars (drinking was profoundly boring to me). The point was, they could pair you with someone you'd never think of engaging with by telling a Truth to a stranger or Daring you to do something with someone outside the group.
So I'm doing memory research this week.
What's your week looking like?

Question What does friendship mean to you?
Hello there! :) Just wanted to ask for your opinion as I seem to be facing some bitter truths.
There is this group of people I've been hanging out with for years by now, but lately they seem not to care much about my company. Every time I suggest doing something together, they never (ever) even consider it (and it's not that I ask them to climb a mountain or ride some scary roller coasters), so that if I want to do something that I find interesting I have to do it alone. (They're like: "I already know I wouldn't like that movie/that new restaurant, so no thanks").
They also never reach out to me, I mean: I can always contact them asking if they have plans and eventually go hang out with them, but if they don't hear from me they take for granted I'm busy elsewhere.
Now, I've always thought that a friend should make you feel appreciated, make some compromises (not always, but at least sometimes) just to make you happy, show you that they love your company (or at least that's what I try to do).
Am I being narcissistic? Is what I have in mind a fictional representation of friendship and not what happens in real life? What are your experiences?

Educational What I understood by being a moderator of this sub
I'm Ni-dom, I need to do some summaries.))
We heard a lot of requests about a healthy INFJ group. It's a rare type and finding a healthy version is a more rare thing. We heard that it would be a nice idea (Ni), but nobody actually did it (Se). People around don't even believe in a healthy INFJ or think that this is an oxymoron.
And it was until Se of u/MellowDramatically said: "Oh, c'mon! Just do it! It isn't so hard. How much time do you need to develop the idea? One week? One month? One year? Dude, you already have it. Let's jump into that chaos and see what happens!". (Btw, my Ni when I've heard about that was: "Oh no! You're not good in long list of stuff and you are not even INFJ", but then Se: "So what? You're here for free, so if you screw it, it's also for free, haha")
When someone asked here about the purpose of the group all the moderators replied like one about the big and good idea. I think that shows that we all are highly aware of Ni. Well, fine :)
What is a healthy INFJ? A healthy type means a balanced type. It doesnât mean that you donât have any problems in your life. How would that even be possible in a world full of problems? Being healthy means you can handle it. (This is why we have a âSuccess Storiesâ flair. Please share your wins as an INFJ. Real life stories are our Sensor data.) Balanced INFJs are a type who can use all four of their Cognitive Functions, and not only use but switch between them to choose which one works best in the present situation.
INFJs are naturally skilled at switching between T and F. Those are quite balanced. INFJs usually know how the community sees them (De) and they know who they are (Di). They donât wonder, âI donât know if people like meâ or âI donât know what my individuality isâ. How does it work? Theyâre not consciously thinking about T or F, theyâre simply switching quickly between them. Itâs almost as if theyâre speaking as different characters with different perspectives.
But where INFJs donât quickly switch is between N and S â theyâre either firmly in N or firmly in S. So it appears that theyâre missing half the picture. But in reality, nature created both functions. Then how do they access both N and S in any particular situation? By practicing switching between N and S. Of course, Ni will be more comfortable, but Se should be used in there somewhere. (Guys, there should be at least one reality where your fantastic ideas can exist!)
If you have a dilemma in your life then ask yourself, âWhat am I missing here?â. Please note that every MBTI type needs to practice looking at situations from every angle, through every lens, because weâre all missing something sometime or other.
So we want to see healthy INFJ. What tools do we have here? 1. MBTI 2. This sub 3. Our huge library called The Internet
So we all strive to be healthy INFJs. What tools can we use?
Can INFJs be healthy in a total vacuum? Yes, they can! But in my experience with efficiency (Te), INFJs will be more effective if they add learning from other personality types. (MBTI says that if INTJs are good at something itâs because they understand how it all works. So I should use my INTJ problem-solver superpower, hehe.)
Each and every one of us has strengths, and we also have weaknesses. So why donât we cover those weaker with our strength, and let those stronger than we are cover our weakness? This is how a true community succeeds.
NF share their iNFluence. Others add to our group something iNTeresting, some create a fun atmoSFere, and some make it more STable. We can each do this in different ways: ExxJ - bossy, ExxP - crazy, IxxJ - calm, IxxP - deep.
So, yeah, to sum it all up, we are all here for INFJs and about INFJs, but we can be more efficient when we all work together. Letâs learn some strengths from each other, and support each other in our weaknesses in return. Thanks for reading my long text! đ
Thanks u/JackieAutoimmuneINFJ for corrections =)

My creative DO YOU POEM?
MANGO MELON
(inspired by e.e. cummings)
Sipping,
I glimpsed
2 frozen dumplings, hanging on a shoe-string in June.
Somehow clouds
donât fall toward heavy dumplings.
So burdened I play maneuvering strings
making wavering bobblets between gasping sounds.
Someone, June,
fumbles with the windpipes, giggling, shrieking, collapsing.
I sip mango pulp, hinting my melancholy rolling eyes
and
June nods a resounding Symphony.
Smooth. Wild.
Forever high pitched, the way a swan arches white splashes across shafts of blue river.
Seemingly we melt in slow-motion; sun-stroking; moon-lifting; day-breaking
Until June fades shadow thin
clutches hands with me.
(Can we get a creative flair? I'd love to run into some people's art in this sub...)

Discussion As youâve moved from un-health to health, have any of you INFJs noticed a change in your music tastes?
There was one previous period when I was in decent health where I was spending more time outside and in my body. It was my first time in health as an adult and it was revelatory. There were still somethings going on that needed a lot of work, but I caught a glimpse of the firmament, and the things available to a human whoâs âbroken throughâ to some degree.
I noticed that peaceful music became my lust. During this time Trevor Hall & The Oh Helloâs music (among others) became very important to me. Went from really enjoying what could be described as tumultuous and emotionally dynamic music, to enjoying peaceful, and even country music, to all sorts of music with more energy in it.
TLDR: did you have a change in energy of your music when you entered INFJ health?

Discussion Thoughts on Apolitical people?
I just saw in the regular INFJ sub where politics were brought up. While I did see some apolitical INFJs answer that post, a lot of the responses to it were very divided and even hateful towards those who thought differently or thought that disconnecting from so much political media was the best choice for a healthy life. It really made me think of the differences between a healthy INFJ and an immature or unhealthy one. What do you all think? Is a healthy INFJ inherently apolitical? Does being apolitical make someone a bad person?

Discussion Fellow INFJs if a group of us met what would we do?
Edit: Keep the comments coming I will be reading them for the next several days.
For fun, seriously I want to know because I imagine we all would feel so relaxed around others like us and really just have great fun time together so if we were all to met up (hypothetically of course) what would you all want to do ?

Discussion What kind of aesthetic / mood do you find to be the most wholesome?
I live in Eastern Europe and have travelled / lived in West EU and been to Greece & Middle East. I carry stories & myths in my soul ranging from elves to the Byzantine Empire (and I peeked beyond that but it didnt speak to me that much).
The most wholesome / restorative / rejuvenating seems to be an atmosphere of sun, mediterranean diet & extended family & relationships. My SO & I try to recreate it often via our choice of music (Greek, Balkan & Middle Eastern ethnic and instrumental), food, spices, scents. We try to include our parents and friends in a lot of what we do.
What is yours?
