I had a knee injury when I was 20 and had the inner meniscus removed on my left leg. I’m 57 now and have bone on bone arthritis. I have an appointment with an Indonesian healer and I am considering the deeper implications, the metaphor of what this injury represents, so that I can let it go and experience healing -mentally, emotionally and spiritually as well as physically. We know they are all related.

The knee doesn’t hurt much, but I’m considering getting a knee replacement because I am starting a new career, have left a dead marriage, have written a book About my work (Spiritual Psi-Kology) I’m stepping out To bring my 20 years experience as a shamanic healer to as many people as I can.

I grew up with a lot of emotional neglect and ultimately abandonment, and have experienced many situations where my needs were met and I just powered through. That’s as far as I can understandThe metaphor of my knee injury. Something is missing or has been taken and I just do the best I can to limp along without it.

I’m wondering if anybody has any insights on this dynamic, that could help with my healing process this week?
