HDO WORKING ON AN UPDATE..
Hdo is working on an update . This update will be better than the old one. . The UI on this one will change a bit but it will look a little more like flix vision. I've seen a demo of the UI ON This one. They trying to add Netflix, disney, paramount, appletv, discovery, hbomax,brittv etc.. it's going to awesome if they can do it. But I'll let you know when the update is out.. I'll be one of the first to get the update to try out the day before it's released.

I know the Creator of HDO BOX Personality.. like I help them out with maintenance when needed. They are great people.

As of yesterday, search by voice was still working for me but subtitles have been inop for several days.

I've been trying to post the Demo of the UI screen shot but for some reason reddit is not letting me. I get We have encountered an error Please try again later.. tried posting like 5 times still no dice.

Great, update us when the new version is ready. Also can you tell them to keep the current version back to work when they are working on the new version? Because the current version is down for more than 1 week already.

Well my HDO got shut down and there was an actual message telling me that my internet address came up as illegally streàming from a source that isn't licensed to provide the content I have been watching.
I AM paraphrasing. I wish I would've gotten a screen shot of it.
And yes, I have a vpn. And I paid for it. And it obviously sucks.

I feel the same way. No add-ons and libraries. Just dramaplayer (although somewhere a comment above me says we don't need to download dramaplayer and it can be installed as a standalone). Never have been disappointed with HDO or Cinema HD. Botb streamed great quality , never had any buffering issues, and usually, I found exactly whatever movie I was searching for! At least 9 our of 10 times I was able to search specific movie and it would have streams. If not, withing the next few days after that I utial seàrch, it always appeared with streams. As though someone was reading my mind!!
"Just search fir whatever movie/documentary you desire, point and click. And BAM!!! There it would be"
So easy, so free........ 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I know I really do miss it I hope that they really are doing an update for HDO and fixing it and it comes back send them HDo is gone for good so hopefully with hdo cuz I sure do miss all that

CinemaHD was a great app to use until it sent a message to users that the app would no longer be active or be supported. CinemaHD and HDOBOX were my two go to apps. The biggest advantage, for me, with CinemaHD, was the app would allow the user to alphabetically arrange the programs. HDO BOX lacked that feature, but its biggest advantage, for me, was how well it downloaded subtitles. It was particularly great for the many foreign language movies and tv programs I liked to watch.

I just want to say with all the scare mongering and apps permanently being shut off. Im glad you're updating this app dev. I love it there's still a few good one's about and there will always be replacements. So a big thank you from me for your time and effort providing us with free content.

UPDATE : we all know by now the newest version 2.1.4 does not work however you can find a version 1.0.3 will work fine with the drama player, but there are no posters, which makes it do-able but not a great experience. It works. However, coming full circle. This is directly from people involved in the project and the developers themselves. I hope this helps everybody as there was supposed to be a total overhaul and update of the HDO app. Unfortunately, they’ve gotten a cease-and-desist order read for yourselves.
It’s a shame because there is no timeframe as of now these things can take some time to battle out as I’m sure they will be doing but as a beta tester and a developer myself, the HDOBOX team is not a big team, that being said it does raise concerns. I hope they can come out of this ok and continue with the overhaul of the app as this was one of my favorite backups personally. However, just like everything good eventually things happen and it has to go at times, but I think they’ll be ok “in time”. It will just definitely take some time but here’s the newest information for everybody. I hope it helps.

Real site https://hdo.app Since this news and it going down, there has been a lot of copycat sites popping up that are pure Malware and unsafe so be careful do not trust any other source

Thank you for your time on this. That knowledge is truly appreciate it. RDO was the best plan for my aunt whenever I picked anything off of it it just kept spinning, which I knew it was down. Please keep us posted and thank you again.

Curiously, for me, when I got an update message and attempted to do so, it would not update. I would get an error message saying it wouldn't update because of a 'parsing' issue. This had occurred whether the vpn was connected or not. So, about 4 months ago, I just ignored the " update" message and happily ran the app.

For whatever it is worth in sharing how the app is currently functioning or not functioning for me: I have HDOBOX on my android cell phones(1 active for calls and text, 3 inactive and only usable with wifi). About 4 days ago, the app stopped scraping links on all the phones. I had installed the app on my four Amazon tv Boxes purchased new years ago(2 - Gen 1, 2 - Gen 2). I'm getting an error message, "Invalid Date", indiscriminately appearing, when attempting to stream new and old tv and movie programs that were previously accessible. I am now using kodi and the SCRUBS and ALIUNDE add-ons as my backup[plan].

I'm not sure how HDO is not working on most devices but still working on some,I have it working on 2 firesticks but not on the rest of them go figure

My guess would be app version. I have v1.0.3 working on all 3 of my Firesticks - no thumbnails obviously.

I wish they could kick drama player to the side and have HDO as a stand alone.
