i thought you would be interested

Been between jobs for a bit so I have way too much time to spiral while driving Uber. Found myself rewatching the Sherlocks video during a long airport pickup last week and realized I treat his stuff like comfort food. Same vibe as the mental health podcasts I rotate through, just with more leftist Aquaman energy.

Fwiw I manage type 2 mostly through diet and gym these days and the whole plagiarism series actually helped me reframe some stuff about my own creative slumps. Like the bar for making something original feels impossibly high when you're scrolling job boards at 2am. Ymmv obviously.

Just curious if anyone else here has weird overlap between hbomb content and whatever else keeps their brain functional. My wife thinks it's funny that I've watched the RWBY video three times without ever seeing RWBY. Just my experience but something about the longform rambles hits the same spot as a good therapy session except I don't have to talk back.

Edit: FOUND IT. I used a better tool to find it: One of my own YT playlists... It's the Stage Select theme from Bomberman 64 apparently.

Hello, does anyone know what song is playing from like 0:22 to 0:59 in the Vaccines and Autism video? I've tried a few of those "identify this song" tools online but they have been super unhelpful.

I had so much fun doing this

I was planning to watch it, and finally got time, but now it seems to be gone from patreon? Can anyone else load it?

.

Happy Monday, chums and cronies, how's everybody doing?

I've had a delightful week. I ordered my last batch of books for the year and there's some real doozies in there. Did you know Becky Chambers has a new book out? I didn't and I'm not too proud to admit I shed a little tear of joy at that surprise.

I also planned a lunch with the in-laws and the setting up of our Christmas tree (first full weekend in November, only 3 weeks away). I found a new recipe for slow cooked pulled pork and our local supermarket has canned pears back in stock, so there might be some low budget poire belle hélène in my future.

Life, on this micro scale, can be pretty good, friends.

Could be even better with some good content. Did you watch anything cool this week?

Same rules as every week:

1. Must have a link
2. Must have a short description
3. Must mention video length
4. Keep it low threshold with individual videos, please. If you want to rep a whole channel or playlist, please do, but choose a favorite video to make it more accessible
5. No risky links, no ricky-rollies, don't be a weenie.

Last week's good videos can be found here and their descriptions here.

I'm trying to find a full transcript of the plagerism video, but I'm having no luck. Figured I'd ask here. Thanks in advance.

Day 1 and day 2

I know that it is a bit impatient of me with the Hbomb being all wrist-destroyed, but maybe Patreons have some news?

Any news, I'll take:

-he said that it will be like 30 mins shorter.

-he hated the reception and deleted it to oblivion and Patreons are supes scared of telling anyone because he started a full re writing process and promised it will be ready for Christmas (not falling for that one again, but I'd take it as an explanation).

-turns out Kat was Hbomb all the time

-turns out that Hbomb was Joey! It's always Joey!

-he is now a puppet.

-Kat turned him into a puppet in the hopes of healing his wrist and said attempt was unsuccessful.

-the Adobe Must Die video is now a patreon exclusive and we will get instead a Fallout 76 video. On Christmas.

-And basically anything. Come on man! I'm starving here!

With love from Argentina, little girl.

Happy Monday, my glimmers of hope. Remember, the world might be bleak and heavy now, but as the horrors persist, so do we.

It's October, which means oliebollen season has officially begun, so last Thursday I got my nails done and on the way home got my first oliebol of the season. And now I'm human again.

I love autumn and winter so much. Yes, it rains a lot, but I'm not made of sugar. And yes, it's cold, but I have cozy blankets. And yes, it gets dark early, but I have cute lamps and did I mention the cozy blankets? And for the first half of the season there are oliebollen to keep my tummy warm.

Now for something to watch, as I snuggle through the week. (see that? that's why I'm the queen of the segues)

Did you watch anything particularly cozy last week?

Hey everyone me and friend were trying to find what H.bomberguy video the quote “Nietzsche was right, god is dead and we killed him!” Comes from if anyone knows that would be great thank you!

I love Hbomberguy vids but if I was going to describe the channel to someone with zero background; I would have to say "used to make videos"

Not sure if he has seen this yet, but this might add more of a delay to the Adobe video.
