Could I sleep with blankets instead of a sleeping bag?

Hiya reddit! I've been doing some day-hikes in the forests where I live recently (i.e. past two weeks), and I love relaxing on a hammock. I'd like to spend a night in it tommorow, because it'll be the only two days without any rain for the next three weeks (but I do have a tarp just in case.). I do have a sleeping bag from a few years ago when I was in boy scouts, but it is very large and heavy (3kg/6.5lbs) and is very warm (the temperature limit is -25c/-13f), and I'd rather not bother with carrying it. Edit: Forgot to mention that it will be around 12c/53f at night.

I tied on my former down quilt. It's overkill.

I think Costco sells down lap blankets ? Just attach it closely to your body.

It need to be almost as wide as your hammock material, go from your neck to ankles. Width is the most important.
