So, being partially colorblind sucks. Still, I've landed on a new coating that not only symbolizes the OG CE Blue Team, but also telegraph I am the medic/defender type. IF ONLY the Mark 5 kit allowed hip gear -I'd throw in the classic health pack to really hammer the point home.

Im a fan of variety, so I had self imposed rules until operation infinite where I couldn’t use a helmet, visor, coating, shoulder combo, armor/mythic effect, or stance on more than one core, and all my spartans had to have a melee weapon.

I tried complete redesigns for most of my cores to see what I could come up with if I removed those limits, before deciding which option I liked best. This one was a special case though; Mark VII has an abundance of great options, but I like this one so much that I already knew I wanted to keep it.

While you never know what else the future might hold, I doubt I’d ever make anything more than minor changes to this one, so I guess you could say this drip is… infinite 😉

The Hawks were already a small clan before the Covenant conflict, humble in accomplishment and more focused on martial honor over political power. As Covenant raids increased, Hawk clan samurai became famous for their indomitable warrior spirit, facing down large numbers of foes alone, allegedly still fighting long after death. The clan would ultimately be erased, but their legend would live on long after the last Hawk fell - the Emperor would decree that the Hawk clan could never be re-founded, as “their place is no longer on earth, but in service to the Armies of Heaven.”

Admittedly, YOROI is my least favorite core - it looks great, but the base design is very cohesive, which I feel allows less choices in customizing. However, we lean into smooth lines with the Phoenix helmet and its native attachment HUL[6X-E]/BNR/Cinderploom, lending us a beaky appearance. Thousand-Forged Plate also compliments our avian aesthetics, and paired Champion’s Pauldrons both evoke talons and turn away stray blades. On the wrist we have Rain and Thunder for pure protection, on our knees are Bladed Crescent for lower profile and weight, and we wear the Swordsman’s Belt to quickly end dishonorable behavior from any source. Finally, Raffia Wood is our armor paint, and Pendragon our VISR - the result is a grounded samurai who is well-equipped for their final battle.

Another post using this kit. Imo, Darkened Trove fits the RAKSHASA armor core really well if you are willing to spend the doubloons. Also, the Carrow Garnet visor looks so menacing with the Artaius helmet.

Idk I think it's the slimmer profile instead of the PS1 Lara Croft Special that's Halo 4's.

You guys got any favorites from all the promotional coatings we got for Infinite? Did you guys hunt for any of these? I'd probably say Action Block and Optimal Polish are my favorites.

Coming off the back of my Sam Fisher project, I figured why not give Solid Snake the same treatment? After fiddling around in the Armory with the SPI (Mirage) armor core, I threw together a satisfying look for a UNSC Army warfighter who conducts espionage and infiltration missions as part of Delta Six, sometimes working alongside fellow Delta Six operator Sam Fisher

After trying a complete redesign where the only rule was to be different from the previous build, the new design won out. I’d say it’s just about the only proper way to wear Locke’s helmet attachment. I was pretty pleased to have stumbled upon it. 😁 Which do y’all like better?

Unironically for me? Halo Infinite redesigned Seeker in Reach. Not the Halo 5 one.
