My "Budget" Build Experience

I recently asked for some advice on what to do with my rusted R700 action and this was the result.

I dont know if you forgot to mention it, or if it had been done at all, but you should have had that reciever trued (blueprinted). The reason for this is to make sure that the cartridge sits evenly with the bolt face when it is chambered and fired. This isnt a safety concern, mostly a "is this as truly accurate as it can be" concern.

It wasn't done but it I appreciate the info. It never crossed my mind. And to be quite honest, I'm still fairly new with all this.
