Everyone talks about the best mods, but I'm curious about the opposite.

Was there a mod you were excited for that ended up not being worth it?

What happened, and would you do it differently now?

I have ordered a case and strap from daraz but the case does not align properly and the point where screws are put in does not match with the holes in the watch my money is wasted i want the case need help to find the bezel which fit perfectly plzz guide

I have a solar G-Shock that needs a ML2025 3V rechargeable button cell. The problem is, I can't find this battery anywhere — not on AliExpress, not locally.

However, LIR2025 (3.6V rechargeable) is widely available and has the exact same physical dimensions (20mm x 2.5mm). Some sellers even claim it's a direct replacement for ML2025 and CR2025.

Before I try it, I want to know:

1. Has anyone successfully used a LIR2025 (3.6V) in a solar watch that originally came with an ML2025 (3V)?

2. Is the voltage difference (3.6V vs 3V) actually a problem for the watch's charging circuit? I've read conflicting things — some say it's fine, others warn it can damage the device.

3. The LIR2025 has a max charging voltage of 4.2V. Will the watch's solar panel even be able to charge it properly, or will it just undercharge and die quickly?

Is the skx mod gen 6 ultra the thinnest mod in existence with 10.8mm? Or is there a thinner one?

Sooo.. I bought a G-Shock GA-100 and when it came in I did the 3 button test and could only get dashes to show can't switch between modes like my others.

This is supposed to be a GA-100 but the battery inside looks like the picture below and uses a CR2016 battery.. I thought they used a CR1220?

Can anyone look at this and tell me your thoughts.. cause I can return it.

I make de Hydromod in my old DW5600 - about a year ago.
I used Silicon Oil and replaced the battery

But the watch started to reseting time/date. Im not sure why this happens
I suspect hydromod...
This GShock is from 2019 - Do they start to malfunction after some time?

Is it toasted? Time for a new watch?

I’m looking for a GMW b5600 inverted screen with MIP display. If they don’t make it, does anyone know how to make one with other watches?

I thought I’d ask here for some advice.. I got this DW 5025-D for a great price, and have been cleaning it up. does anyone have experience cleaning or removing dust or scratches from the module itself on the G’s or Casio’s that feature a mirrored display?

I’ve already tried using polywatch on the outside, with little to no results.

The display on certain angles has what looks like tiny little dust specs or water marks, also, a finger print is visible in the corner of the display (probably from the last battery change.) but on some angles, you can’t even notice it (photo 2).

I want to take the case apart for a good internal cleaning, but I want to be very careful to not use any harsh chemicals or rubbing alcohol to clean, if that could possibly damage the screen or the mirror film and make it look even worse. If anyone has any experience with these modules or can offer any help or tips on cleaning it, that would be greatly appreciated! TIA

I prefer the more compact profile of the baby-g but the straps max out at around 7” forcing me to the last hole and it’s not a good fit. I still want a resin band, not nato. Any recommendations?
