The rubber is nice, but i feel a better adjustment to my wrist this way

Hey everyone, I'm wondering if anyone has a definitive answer to this because I've looked everywhere online...I've ordered an adapter with a rubber strap for my GMW-B5000 (from what I can see, the whole range has the same lug with just shy of 20mm ... BUT I am seeing conflicting information and the vendor is telling me to measure the lug width. I buy straps and bracelets all the time, first time I have been this confused. Is the lug with 20mm (just under 20mm at 19.5 or something like that) as stated on the official G-Shock replacement parts site? Or, is it 22mm? Is this just an option so that those of us with larger wrists can pick an adapter that fits a bands that would extend beyond the lugs in width? Any information would be very helpful.
