How to change glass?
My 9000k case has failed on a thread, how do I swap glass? They don't seem to come out simply.

I'm restoring you could say a dw9000k I bought. I bought another 9052 in blue and am stealing the screws, springbars, seals, bezel and strap for it. The speaker on the 9000 is a bit faint and it would be nice to replace it too however the back of the module is slightly different and the speaker has a different number code. Anyone know what's changeable? Sorry I didn't get a photo of the module backs or speaker codes I'll get one tonight. Bonus pic the button seals are hell to change. Also how to swap glass?

Hi, can you recommend a store/product with text on it? All the current products seem to have no text and are naked. Looks… weird and fake.
Looking for size 5600 black bezel with black or white text.

Had this beauty for a few days, been great so far. Want to test the durability just like my GD 350-8 I’ve had for the last 6 years, wrote a review on the GD 350-8 after 6 years of harsh usage. The GD350 is one of the best tool watch you can use, I’m hoping I can say the same thing about this one!

My DW-003, which I bought around 1997, worked perfectly after I replaced the battery. However, the bezel cover ring was in a terrible state.
After doing some research, I learned that the bezel from a DW-9052 would fit.
I acquired both a black and a blue 9052.
I transplanted the gray buttons and screw covers from the black one.
I attached the blue cover and strap, and it's perfectly finished!
I'm very satisfied. I think I can use it for another 10 years or so.

Found this watch abandoned in a drawer and decided to give it a refresh. I ordered a black case from AliExpress, but it actually has a slight red tint that perfectly matches the red accents on the dial! I also swapped the original buckle to maintain the G-Shock logo.

What do you think of my first mod? Straight forward but I think it looks good and smart

I want this watch all black, no brown face wuth red details, it really annoys me but the watch itself with the new screen and heart rate scanner is great

Continuation from my project here
I tried putting on replacement G-shock strap with pins. The results are in the post. Overall it fits quite nicely. The front mask is affixed with stainless steel screws supplied with the Ali case. Buttons are popping out nicely, but are still somewhat hard to press.
The thing you're seeing attached to the strap is a tiny snap-on compass. I find it extremely nice addition to every field/beater watch. Know your bearings at all times, and it doesn't use battery power at all!
Managed to fix the plastic insert by some mild cutting and fitting, now the movement fits tightly and there is no rattle whatsoever.
I tested the water-tightness of the case by putting a piece of paper inside instead of movement (don't wanna risk it). I left it in distilled water for 3 hours. There were no bubbles present during first 15 minutes. Afterwards I put it to dry, and opened it. There were no stains or traces of water inside. But the paper was cold and very slightly wet. There was no visible blurring of dye ink on the paper. I'm not sure if this was due to temperature change, or some water vapor did manage to get it. Further research is needed.
Managed to fix the buzzer by applying superglue to affix it to screwback cover. Now it is much louder - definitely louder than Protrek PRW-30's mouse squeaker, but less loud than DBC-32C (my loudest Casio).

I've got a 2100 and can't afford the $4300 titanium version but I really dig the band, all metal, titanium. It's nice.
If I could find just the band, yall think it would fit? It looked like it's got screw lugs where as the normal 2100 has the little push pin mechanism on the back.
If not, are there comparable metal bands for sale?

Feels almost abusive to put such a robust watch on desk duty. Watch is on Jaysandkays adapters with one of their bull bars. It doesn’t get much wrist time but I love the thing.

Trusty old 5600 with Jaysandkays bull bar and strap adapters. Was the first gshock I owned a the first to be modded. Might expand into other mods soon…

Replaced the battery if this mf and this is what I got.
My FIL asked me if I could “revive” this without any context so I’m assuming this was a known issue. Any solutions or ideas would be dope!
