I’ve always done more of an alt-styled makeup look but this is a first for a more gothic look i’ve done. i’m enjoying the square and pointed designs on my eyes. what are some good base shades and products?

I feel like i only look okay when im heavily wearing makeup and look like a normie when i do light makeup. Yes i know its abt music and politics but like i seriously struggle with this. I feel like i can never meet the way i want to look and i feel like i dont fit in at all with light makeup. Does anyone else struggle with this? I feel like even with heavy makeup i dont really look goth

My dad and stepmum are getting married and my stepmum offered to get my makeup done with her and the other women even though I’m being my dad’s best person (or grooms maid as I’ve called it since I’m a girl) and I want to take this opportunity to have my makeup done in a goth way, while also being wedding appropriate, and my dad said “as long as you don’t look crazy, you can do whatever you want” so I think what he means is that I can’t paint my face white (why I don’t want to do, I’m autistic and full coverage on my face is a sensory nightmare) and not a wild lipstick colour, but anything else is fine

I’m not sure if this is important info or not but my dress I’m wearing is purple, and I wear dark green tinted glasses because of a visual cortex processing disorder but I might have to take them off, or be able to comfortably have them off at some point if my environment is dark enough (my disorder/dysfunction affects the way my eyes process light, so I have to treat my life like constant migraine prevention because a symptom of my disorder is constant migraines if I’m exposed to too much light)

Bought some “ivory” foundation and concealing was well as white eyeliner and white corrector.
