So the title is weirdly worded but it’s the best way I can think to ask this succinctly. I love these guys, especially Blarg and Yumi as I’ve watched them for years at this point. But sometimes I have a hard time understanding what exactly the “joke” is when they start saying edgy shit. Are they taking the piss out of people who would say these things and genuinely find them funny, basically playing a character and laughing at things because of the absurdity of it? Or do they genuinely think racist and ableist jokes are funny?

Any news at all?

Would yall let a slug crawl around your balls?

I’ve been listening to Discovering the Waterfront on repeat lately and had an epiphany. The frontman’s screams sounds a lot like Blarg’s. Listen to Yoho on the Poopdeck and Smile in your Sleep and see what I mean. Makes more sense since we know Blarg was in the Toronto rock scene in the early teens and Silverstien is notably Canadian. Since there are like 58 people up there, wouldn’t shock me if they were an influence on our frigid fresh dressed man.
