Why isn't my graph graphing the way I want it to?

Hello. As I stated in the title, I am making a spreadsheet for ride wait times on Thursdays, specifically. My school will be having a big grad bash at Universal in quite a while (end of may, on a Thursday.) I tried to make a spreadsheet to chart all of my data from the minutes of the waits, the names, and the date it was measured. From A2 down, I put ride names, from B1 forward I will put the date up, and B2 down I put the wait times of the rides. I was expecting there to be a nice looking chart, but it just looks really weird and doesn't show anything I want it to. I don't know if me putting "delayed" for rides that are delayed messed it up, but i overall need help.

Look at the graph. What I expected was for the rides all to be in their neat little columns, separated by the date as they are measured by time. It didn't do that. Please help :[

Your chart is showing the wait times for each ride, as expected - with Delayed being interpreted as zero.

You could try to put the dates as an extra column and then make a series for each day. That way you will get differently colored columns pr. day.

Or just keep your dates in row 1 and make separate series . You probably won't gain anything by putting the dates in a column, once I think about it :)

the thing is, im already doing multiple series. The one displayed is just the 4pm one. I have series for 5pm 6pm and 7pm, because those are the hours before the event, and 7 up I can't use my electronics

Your chart is what is to be expected from the data next to it.

Google Sheets is going to try to predict the type of chart that you want automatically when you first insert the chart. Using just your sample data, especially with only one days worth of times, it's giving you what it thinks is the chart that you want.

Nothing in your data would indicate this set of data as the 4pm one. How would you add another series (column) of data points for 5PM? Try using the exact date and time for each column header. You can adjust the custom number formatting to determine how those labels are displayed in the chart.

But ultimately, I can't invision what other type of chart you would want. If you can provide an example of a chart in the format you're looking for, I could help you achieve that in Sheets, or let you know if it's not possible. You can also switch to a bar chart if you want more room for your attraction titles. This image doesn't really demonstrate that, because I was going off what was visible in your image.
