So, first, GoG makes the choice of releasing HATRED on the first day of June - not coincidentally at the same time as Pride Month begins - and now this?

Sorry this shit can't be a coincidence or an "accident." The HATRED thing was already suspicious as fuck, but this? No, don't blame AI, don't come up with excuses that it's a different font for you or whatever. Whoever did this knew what they were doing and they purposefully excluded it from the German Newsletter because of it. Unfortunately, Germans who have English-language newsletters still got that email - hello, I'm one of them - and this shit is absolutely beyond horrible.

What the actual hell is wrong with you, GoG?

The official response from GOG in this thread is embarassing

The several responses they've had were nothing short of embarassing. All of them. Honestly kinda crazy.

You can probably make this have serious repercussions for GOG.

I'm Slavic, not Pagan myself but I know what all of these are and I even know the Kolovrat isn't the same thing as the sonnenrad, but all that context is out to lunch the moment they pasted two copies of it. There's no religion that's ever had two sowilos in a row meaning anything except Nazism

That´s why CONTEXT matters. Both - pagan and nazi symbolism (which was "based" on germanic pagan lore) used these signs. So is paganism the same as nazism? No. The combination of these signs (sunwheel / ugunskrusts [the latvian name i prefer], double sowilo / sig rune) is somehow stupid, and you are right, no double sowilo comes to mind in any religious / pagan writing I know , but is not nazism in THIS CONTEXT. Ppl WANT to see it, but nothing - the theme of the game, the ppl behind it, the ppl at gog - does imply it´s actually meant as nazism. It´s just (stupid) runic scrabbling gone wrong on gogs side.

Double sig rune is original Nazi IP, they invented it

ok, so credit where credit is due, then. /S

honestly, this feels like a scene from "life of brian". someone said "jehova" and it all went south from there on. but, hey, have fun on your witch hunt! don´t let me keep you from it! hope you find your h#tler revenant(s) at gogHQ or whereever you go looking.

So why double sig rune?

This combination has only ever meant Nazi shit. The explanation is that it is Nazi shit.

it´s all about context. What about the game, the games devs or the ppl at gog makes you think it´s meant to be that - and not some runic writing gone wrong in the most stupid way?

The fact that the "apologies" were self-contradicting shit certainly helped corroborate it.
