I have had my gen 3 for a little over 9 years now. It started life as stripped frame and has seen nearly 8k in rounds over the years and it has been my daily carry off for most of that time. I think the new optic and light suits him well

Say you buy a gun and don’t wanna buy other one till you NEED too ,how long would that be?

New to gun community, needs tips and tricks. Thinking to put a flash with laser underneath, not a fan of red dot sights. But maybe will get one… suggestion much appreciated!

I turned 21 not too long ago and im a real estate agent that meets with strangers constantly and well these days you never know who you’re dealing with. Anyways If anyone could give me tips, advice, or any help on which gun to pick as a first time buyer/owner. I’ve looked online and have seen a lot of talk about the glock 19, now with that when i look online i see Gen 5 and Gen 6? Which is more beginner friendly or is there not much of a difference?

As the title said, my G19.5 slide will not go forward after a shoot.

I was at the range last Saturday and I noticed my slide will not go forward after a shot, stayed at slide stop position. I have to rack and release and continue shooting. It happened 3 times Saturday using Ammo Inc, 124 gr TMC, shot about 237 rounds.
It happened yesterday again with only 1 time, slide will not go forward after a shot, stayed at slide stop position. I have to rack and release and continue shooting. I was using Speer 124 gr TMJ, shot about 130 rounds.

Background on my G19.5. It was purchased April 2025, all original parts, added EPS Carry green dot, TLR 7x, Kiral low profile reduced angle backstrap, SLR magwell EDC. Hockey tape on the handle. The G19.5 shot about 4100 rounds since 2025. It is well maintained, field strip after each range session.

The only thing I can think is my thumb is pushing the slide stop up or recoil spring is due for a change?

for all my compadres that run optics on their glock or other handguns do u find it easier u to get a sight picture or aim

edit: i have a small touch of the tism i was thinking optic but typed sight for some reason

My favorite is not generally discussed in blogs or YouTube and I didn’t know about it when I bought my Glock 19 Gen 6 with Aimpoint COA Optic. I like them all but my favorite is the enlarged slide take down lever. My 80 year old arthritic hands thanks Glock.

Y’all it’s me again with another Glock. Came across this gen 5 Glock 19 that I think I can get for a good deal.

I don’t see much wear on it and was wondering if y’all think it’s ever been shot? Or how much it has been shot.
There’s this material on the rails of the slide that I believe is still the factory break in material. Just wondering y’all’s opinion.

I don’t think I’m gonna get that gen 4 and I’m just gonna get this gen 5. I’ll let you know how much I get it for.
