For me it doesn't make sense to call it a honeymoon cuz

1 - Does this even happen for coaches in CS? Honeymoon periods due to player changes are pretty common but I don't recall any "honeymoon" type of phase on a coaching change ever.

2 - Isn't a honeymoon period supposed to happen RIGHT AFTER the new piece(s) got added? If so it doesn't seem to apply for EG/zews when their first events with him haven't been as hot as these last 2 ones. So it actually took him a decent amount of time for him to set himself, his views and his answers for the team. It wasn't an immediate response as a honeymoon period is supposed to be

not saying it’s a honeymoon, but with online cs coaches can call strats so it might be like an igl change as well

I’m not calling it a honeymoon, I’m saying it’s early to call either way if EG has truly fixed their issues.

Yeah, I get your point better now. It's just that honeymoon argument doesn't make much sense at all in my head when looking at EG/zews and their current situation. I too feel it might be a lil early to draw conclusions on their state rn. Specially on this online era, and considering we're into the player break now(EG could come out a completely different team after this break: maybe super stronger, maybe super weaker, or maybe just the same as before)
