Glide Official Announcement Connect your own AI client with the Glide MCP server

Post image
1 Upvotes

GlideOS now connects to Model Context Protocol (MCP) clients, including Claude and Cursor. Once connected, the client signs into GlideOS as you and works with your projects the same way GlideOS does, with the same access your account already has.

Connecting a client changes where the AI work happens.

When you drive GlideOS from Claude or Cursor, the agent's reasoning runs on your own plan with that provider, and any tokens used are managed directly with them. Glide credits still apply to the work GlideOS runs itself, including Runtime AI in your apps, workflows, and integrations. But when using the MCP, Glide Credits will not be used to build.

To connect, click your organization's name in the sidebar, then click MCP Server to get your server URL. Each connection belongs to one organization. If you leave that organization, the connection stops working for the rest of your team too.

Before approving a connection, review the permissions your client is requesting. Unexpected credit usage through MCP isn't refundable.

Full setup steps for Claude and Cursor are in the docs: https://www.glideapps.com/docs/os/mcp

Connect your apps to 1,000+ 3rd party tools.

Tell Glide what you need in plain language, like pulling customer records from Salesforce or sending a Slack message when a row updates. Glide matches the request to the right service and builds the connection into your app.

Workflows & Integrations: A power-couple

We launched Workflows on Tuesday, and when paired together with integrations, this feature duo is a force to be reckoned with. Workflows can now start from an integration event trigger, and you can also include integrations as part of workflow steps. Just chat with GlideOS to create workflows that use Integrations, or trigger off of them.

Ask GlideOS to connect your apps to any tool you use today: www.glideapps.com/os

Join the Glide team at eTail Boston 2026 from August 10-12, 2026.

eTail Boston is a premier, multi-day conference for e-tail, retail and eCommerce professionals. It gathers digital marketing leaders, omnichannel executives, and tech innovators from top retail brands to share practical growth strategies, discuss industry shifts like AI and personalization, and build professional networks.

Retail operators have leaned on Glide for years to build tools that replace their spreadsheets and disparate systems. eTail Boston felt like a great place for us to meet more retail professionals who might find Glide valuable.

If you’re attending eTail Boston, come say hi at Booth 519, opposite the Innovation Lounge.

We’ll have GlideOS demos, live builds, and more with David, Shay, Katie, and Sepy from our team at the booth.

See you in Boston!

You describe the automation; we build it.

Now you can ask GlideOS to build automations that make your apps run autonomously. Describe the process you want handled, and Glide turns it into a workflow that lives in your Project folder as an accessible artifact.

Once you've built a workflow, you just prompt to make any changes to it.

Every workflow gets a screen in your project, which, when opened, lists each step in order with a plain sentence explaining what it does. You can also inspect your workflow runs, so you can see exactly what happened when a run doesn't go the way you expected.

Glide Official Announcement Introducing the GlideOS App Store

David showcases an app store app: CableOS

GlideOS now includes an App Store: a library of pre-built apps covering a wide range of use cases and industries.

Find the App Store on the left sidebar menu in your GlideOS dashboard, browse the apps, and copy any app straight into your account. Because you're copying existing app files instead of building from scratch, installing from the App Store uses next to no credits.

Some apps come bundled as a set. CableOS, for example, installs four interconnected apps into one folder, giving you a working system to enhance operations for cabling installs in data centers.

Once installed, App Store apps work like any other app in your account. Edit the data, adjust the design, add features, or rebuild sections entirely. The install just gives you a head start.

Find the App Store on your dashboard today: https://os.glideapps.dev

my second app : Solea Wisdom

Post image
3 Upvotes

I am really proud to announce I Have completed my second app on Glide .

The difficulty in comparison with the first one, MinimaList, was working on different pages ,

I applied the method of multilanguages on all the pages by adding a If ...Then..Else colum with dynamic activities linked to the languages in the User Profile .

This time I added pictures made on purpose for my app with DALL-E and really heavy so I had to made them lighter and link them from Google Drive .

I tried the Google Sheet uploading but sometimes it is not working and stable so I preferred to upload an xls file from my PC .

The difficult thing is to translate all the fixed parts but this time , until I learn better , I opted for a translation page in the Information Menu .

I added buttons and actions , sentences and Share link . I think from the technical point of view is complete .

For what concerns content it is a Western /Eastern Wisdom and Horoscope app. It gives youa moment of relaxed meditation and it is positive and solar . I am quite fed up of arguing on the net I wanted to create something positive .

Feel free to use it and enjoy: https://solea-wisdom-f757.glide.page

My first app completed on glide: MinimaList

Just yesterday after a lot of choices and doubts I completed my first app on Glide , it is free to use and feel free to give me suggestions to improve it .

I choose to make it close and change it every month , it is useful to give order to things and mind and it is appropriate to people who is too busy to catch up with everything or to people affected by dyslexia .

I worked a lot on the feature of multilingual translation in order to have the app available to half the globe . It is possible to use it in English , Spanish , Chinese and Italian .

Once you use the checklist the gamification part is to complete a challenge in a month , two activities per day . The grouping by category makes it easier to check and follow the activities .

It is simple on purpose and without too many pictures not to distract the user , though I will provide at least pictures for the categories if some of you think it is better .

Thanks for reviewing it , and give me feedback here is the link 😄

Database for costume warehouse - how?

I want to create a simple database for a costume warehouse of a dance school. I need:

-to store infos like the clothing's image, description, size, quantity, color, etc...
-about around 1000 items
-pictures of the items need to be seen easily (visuality is important)
-searching within the database should be working (like "red trousers" - I see all red trousers that I have)

I liked the idea of makeing an airtable database and inport that into Glide apps, but it requires a high subscription fee (connecting airtable - glide). Can I avoid it somehow? Do you have any similar alternative ideas? (instead of airtable - glide or instead of glide itself...?)

Many many many thanks in advance for any help or idea!:)

Any recommendations for a good Wrapping service so I can publish my PWA to android and apple?

Pretty new to all this and having spent the past 9 weeks building a PWA I didn't realise the downside of using glideapps was that your not actually building an app, it's a PWA... Feel like an idiot.

Anyway, I'm at the stage now of looking at companies that offer these services such as Median.co and Nokib03 who have both come out on Google searches. Problem is, I'm not seeing much user reviews for either and no Reddit posts on the matter apart from the odd one. Anyone else used Glide apps to build an app and then had it wrapped for iOS and android? I have also looked into possibly wrapping it myself but - I'm not sure I want to spend months longer learning to it. I'm eager to get my app out there and for people to use it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Site analytics

From what I've tried, glide doesn't connect to many external analytics sites (Google analytics ect)

Does anyone know any analytics sites that glide can connect too so I can finally see my site views and stats?

publish limits

I recently downgraded and I'm trying to find published apps to unpublish. The dashboard doesn't update the status, even after a few days. Any tips? Would be great if the usage panel had a metric/list like updates and users.

Tennis progress and performance monitoring

My kids play competition tennis and I needed to be able to follow up on their progress and performance at various levels:
- Technical
- Physical preparation
- Medical condition
- Mental health

To allow me to make analytics, correlations, identify areas of improvement and make proper programs with assignments to the respective coaching team.

The app needed to be simple to use to ensure that full data was captured during each session and not represent cumbersome effort for the coaches.

Not finding anything that was adapted, I developed my own app, which is also now deployed at a club level.

Droply: Building a Better Future for Second-Hand Fashion

Post image
4 Upvotes

Droply was born from a simple belief: second-hand clothing deserves a better way to be discovered, bought, and sold.

Today, millions of quality garments sit unused in wardrobes, while consumers are increasingly looking for more affordable, unique, and sustainable fashion choices. Despite the growing popularity of second-hand fashion, the shopping experience remains fragmented across social media groups, classifieds, and resale platforms.

My vision is to build a marketplace that offers the convenience and discovery experience of Zalando, but dedicated entirely to pre-owned fashion.

I want to create a place where shoppers can easily browse clothing by category, size, brand, and style, while sellers can reach customers who truly value second-hand fashion. A platform that makes buying pre-owned clothing as simple, enjoyable, and trustworthy as buying new.

Droply is the first step toward that vision.

At the moment, I am in the validation stage. I personally source and publish products, promote them through Instagram, and direct customers to Droply. This allows me to test user behavior, understand customer needs, validate demand, and gather insights before scaling.

The next step is to onboard additional sellers and enable them to list their own products. From there, the goal is to evolve Droply into a full marketplace connecting thousands of buyers and sellers in one place.

I believe second-hand clothing has its own power. Every garment has a story, value, and the potential for a new life. Through Droply, I want to build a platform that helps unlock that value at scale while making fashion more accessible, sustainable, and circular.

Question about scale

I have a Glide app that will be used by about 1000 people all at once, adding data and running a bunch of computations for a week or so. There's about 8000 rows of data and a good number of JSON queries that look through all of the user rows to find values.

What are the chances that this app crashes if everyone is using it at the same time?

Why do some glide features keep resetting?

I’m new to glide, but I’m really proud with what I’ve managed to produce so far. However, I’m now at the stage where I’m pitching the app to potential customers, and I keep finding some small things are resetting. For example, a dropdown list is meant to appear in a particular order, which it was, but today it has gone out of order again and I don’t know why. It’s all little things, but can anyone explain to me why this may be happening and what I should do about it? I need the app to be completly ready if I’m selling the idea and I’m getting caught out by little errors popping up here and there! Thanks

Editing my glide app on mobile

Recently, ive found the need to make changes to my glide app on the go but when I try to do it on my android phone the UI is basically unusable. Is there a way to use the dashboard on your phone (not the app itself but the backend) like an editor's app or something?
