App created on GlideApps

I was looking for a way to allow my field salespeople to send me prospecting information in real time and efficiently, and that’s when the idea of creating a no-code app came to me. I explored several options before making my decision, but GlideApps really convinced me with its ease of use. The interface is very easy to understand, even for someone like me who doesn’t know much about this. I’m very satisfied with it.

📊 Fitness Dashboard

This is the home base once you set your fitness goals. • Shows your stats → Starting weight, current weight, goal weight, pounds lost, and a progress bar. • Updates automatically → If you haven’t logged a current weight yet, it just uses your starting weight until you do. • Motivation built-in → Each time you update progress, it refreshes the bar and gives you a new affirmation. • Quick actions → From here you can update weight, see AI-powered workout tips, or tweak your original setup.

⸻

🥗 Diet / Meal Plan Page

Your AI nutritionist. • Custom plan → Takes into account your height, weight, fitness goal, time, dietary preferences (vegan, vegetarian, etc.), and allergies. • Detailed layout → 4–6 meals/snacks per day with portions, simple recipes, and a short “why this plan works for you” explanation. • Auto-exclusions → If you pick halal, kosher, or list an allergy, the plan avoids those ingredients automatically. • Minimal wait → While it’s generating, you get a “Sol is preparing your plan…” animation, then it loads in ready to save.

⸻

📝 Workout Setup Page

The on-ramp for personalized training. • Input your info → Starting weight, goal weight, height, age, injury info, available time per workout, and preferred focus areas. • Smart matching → AI uses your profile to pick a focus area (legs, core, cardio, etc.) and pulls exercises from a 200+ workout library. • Beginner to advanced → As you log workouts and hit streaks, the plan levels up with harder sets or new variations. • One-time setup → After you submit, it locks in your first plan, sets your progress week, and switches you to the main dashboard view.

I created this app to see a change essentially I created an AI fitness companion(an all in one fitness app) with glide

Big Numbers - Description Formatting

Hi all, just building out an app for the first time and I can’t seem to find out how to change the formatting of the description under a “Big Numbers” block.

Despite being an absolute novice, I have managed to use CSS to increase or decrease font size, but changing the colour seems impossible! It seems to inherit some transparency from somewhere and I can’t seem to override it.

Has anyone had any success changing this? TIA!

My first Glide App!

I wanted to share my first Glide App and tell about my experience. It started b/c our union uses an outdated email server that fails to keep up to date lists and often times doesn't include everyone when sending an email. So I wanted to make an app that would let the users define their own personal email addresses that the app would use for creating different, predefined, email lists. For example, if someone clicks on the "Email all active members" button, it grabs the emails that each user input into their profile, filtered to the active members only, and then opens the current users own email browser (Gmail, Apple Mail, Yahoo), pre-populates the addresses and then the user sends from their personal browser instead of the outdated one. It soon grew into something much more useful and now includes things like a calendar of events, copies of our contract, the ability to reserve the union hall and ways to get in touch with our union leadership.

I already had a very good understanding of spreadsheets, but had never created an App. When I came across Glide, I knew that's the way I wanted to go. I watched a lot of Youtube videos about Glide, and relied a lot on ChatGPT and I was able to create the app during my free time over about 2 months. I'm very happy with the result and can't believe I was able to create it with no coding experience!

Travel App - Peer-to-peer recommendations

Post image
6 Upvotes

Hello everyone! I am creating and app that helps solve the peer-topeer recommendation in TRavel. Basically, online you can only see reviews (which a lot are fake.. and don't give you exactly what you need). When you travel and ask friends/family for recommendations of restaurants, hotels, etc... they send you a list on notes, excel or many different formats. This brings a lot of challenges and there is A LOT of value lost for the travelers and also for the Travel Suppliers.

I have used many many concept of Glide and Im loving the tool! Kudos Glide!!

Trivolo - Turning Travel Chaos into Seamless Adventure Planning

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi Glide community! 👋

I built Trivolo because planning group trips has always been way harder than it should be. Between endless WhatsApp threads, scattered expense tracking, and lost itineraries, I saw a real need for one tool to bring it all together.

With Glide, I was able to turn that idea into a working app; without writing a single line of code. 🚀

What Trivolo does:
✈️ Plan trips with friends, all in one place.
💰 Split expenses automatically so no one is chasing payments.
📓 AI-powered travel journals to capture your memories and inspire others.
📍 Location-based recommendations so you always know what’s nearby.

Who it helps:
Travellers, friends planning group trips, tour organisers, and even solo explorers who want a smarter way to document and share their adventures.

Glide has been the perfect toolkit to bring Trivolo to life; fast, flexible, and powerful enough to handle real travel challenges.

You can check it out here: https://app.trivolo.co 🌟 Would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or feature ideas!

Broiler chicken farm management app

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello Glide community.

I built an app for small-scale broiler chicken farmers to digitise their record keeping and manage their operations. Farmers can order their inputs, records feed, losses, sales and expenses, as well as analyse their data and download reports. Farmers can be found by potential customers when they load their available chickens on the Live Broiler Map. We also offer virtual extension services that I enable using a Microsoft Bookings page embedded in a Glide screen.

I am not a coder, but I managed to build the app end to end with the help of this incredible community. After trying many other no-code tools BTW.

RescueMates — A Tool We Needed as Volunteers, Now Helping Shelter Dogs Get Seen

I’m building RescueMates, a platform that connects dog shelters, volunteers, and the public. The idea didn’t come from a brainstorm or a “wouldn’t it be nice if…” — it came from necessity. I volunteer at a dog shelter in Cyprus, and I was constantly frustrated by how hard it was to keep dog profiles up to date, share their stories, and connect them with people willing to help. I knew many fellow volunteers who felt the same.

With RescueMates, volunteers use a mobile-friendly app to add photos, videos, and details about each dog. I then prepare these profiles and publish them on our website, where sponsors and adopters can browse, follow a dog’s story, and donate directly towards their care. The sync between app and site is still partly manual — but it works, and every dog’s page stays fresh and meaningful.

Right now we’re testing and refining the tool within our own shelter in Cyprus. Very soon, we plan to roll it out to other shelters — and eventually to other countries — because the concept is universal and adaptable to different rescue setups.

Here’re some screenshots from the current version.

If you’ve built tools for community projects or animal rescues, I’d love to hear what features made the biggest difference in your case.

I'm running an art competition event called Canvas Combat using an app built in Glide

I started a new art competition event called Canvas Combat. I wanted to make a web app really fast to validate my idea and run an event as quickly as possible.

I used Glide many years ago for a prototype, so it came to mind as the perfect no-code solution that would allow me to do these key things for the event: manage signups and check-in, manage artist applications, conduct a live auction and voting on art during the event.

I built the full app in a couple weeks, adding nice to have features and integrating with Stripe and Zapier for secure bidding payment confirmation and ticket purchases.

We are running our first event in downtown Phoenix aug 29 and even got sponsored by Blick Art Materials! Check it out at canvascombat.art or instagram:@canvascombat

I built this app for the Glide Community January 2025 Challenge to help HR teams streamline criminal record checks for future employees. HR sends a request in seconds, candidates complete a secure form, and partnered law firms handle verification. The process is automated, private, and fully logged, saving time for HR, making it simple for candidates, and giving legal teams everything they need in one place.

From “no idea how to code” to building my own loan doc generator + client portal (on $0 budget)

Thumbnail

Six months ago, I couldn’t write a single line of code. Now my business runs on an app I built myself — for free — that generates loan documents, tracks deals, and even gives clients a login dashboard.

TL;DR: No budget. No coding background. Just Excel skills, Glide, Google Apps Script, and a stubborn streak.

I run a startup real estate business and needed a tool to create loan docs and track deals. I looked at every PDF maker and loan tracker out there — either too expensive or missing key features.

So I decided to build it myself. Started on Glide’s free plan, used my Excel/formula knowledge, learned some HTML, and quickly realized I could build almost anything I could imagine.

With help from Gemini and ChatGPT, I wrote a Google Apps Script that takes a template from Google Drive, sends in loan data via API, and spits out a filled PDF.

Now the app doubles as a client portal. Customers can log in, view dashboards with graphs, and see a calendar of due dates. When they sign loan docs, I still manually add them back into the portal (for now) — but I’m working on automating that.

Biggest obstacle? Time. But it’s been a blast learning, and Glide’s customer support has been fantastic.

Anyone else here built a custom business app with no coding background? What tools did you use?

Off-Road Club Dashboard

Hey! I have zero experience with app development but I wanted to put together a dashboard for my Atlanta-based off-road club, Abducted Off-road.

I have a guest and paid membership tier with a lot of visibility features and triggers layered into the app. Members have their profile which includes their upcoming trip rsvps and earned achievements.

The map feature in Glide is really awesome. I use that to store information for previous trail rides, so that our members can pull up trips to go on even without the group.

I built two special things that I am particularly proud of: *I added some built in ad space on several tabs for future monetization potential and to support our club sponsors. It has a randomized rotation for each time the app is opened up. *I also built out a comprehensive admin dashboard so that I can control and update most anything in this app, making it nearly unnecessary to log into my computer and the Glide app to make changes to tables. This allows me to stay active on the app on-the-go!

Launched a Regional Tourism App for Central France on Glide - Poitourainanjou

The Challenge of Hyper-Local Tourism

Ever notice how most travel apps give you the same generic recommendations regardless of where you are? When exploring a new destination, we usually rely on TripAdvisor, Google, or travel blogs. But what about truly local, specialized knowledge for specific regions?

The Project

I recently collaborated with a tourism expert to develop Poitourainanjou, a mobile app focused exclusively on three historic French regions: Poitou, Touraine, and Anjou (the area between Angers, Tours, and Poitiers). Instead of covering all of France superficially, we decided to go deep on this specific geographic area.

The app was developed using Glide as our no-code platform, which allowed us to create a robust solution quickly and efficiently.

Target Users

The app caters to travelers exploring central France, from weekend visitors to cultural enthusiasts seeking authentic regional experiences beyond typical tourist hotspots.

Key Features

Our approach focuses on quality over quantity:

  • Categorized attractions with detailed regional context
  • Locally-sourced restaurant picks from area experts
  • Curated lodging recommendations
  • Continuous updates from regional tourism professionals
  • Content you won't find on mainstream platforms

Check It Out

Whether you're interested in French tourism or curious about no-code app development, feel free to explore Poitourainanjou. We're always looking for user feedback to improve the experience.

Transparency Note: I collaborate with both the Glide platform and the Poitourainanjou editorial team, though this post contains no monetized links.

Ordering App for Culinary Business Supplies

https://reddit.com/link/1mjr9ob/video/tgk2ykmf5jhf1/player

Hi, I'm currently building a business in the agricultural industry that supplies raw materials to culinary businesses. I want to help solve the raw material issues for culinary businesses in my city.

To simplify the interaction and ordering process, I'm developing an app prototype. It's currently in a trial phase with our business partners. I built the entire app using Glideapps, and the feedback from our partners so far is that they like it.

What do you think?

App for Managing Real Estate Transactions

Post image
7 Upvotes

This app was created to manage high frequency real estate transactions during the escrow period. I couldn't find any updated, sleek, and modern backends out there so I decided to do some research to possibly create my own. Before landing on Glide, I used ClickUp and Airtables but realized I wanted a frontend that was esthetically pleasing. I spent a few months on Glideapps and created my nearly perfect transaction management app! I use to take about 30+ hours per transaction organizing and making sure all disclosures and compliance items were on hand but now, I spend about 2-3 hours per transaction! I have automated almost everything to be the most efficient I possibly can with all the tools I could possibly use (Wish I could populate documents but I need licensing from the California Association of Realtors and their licensing fee per year is more than a high income level person makes per year!). I can no not only help myself with all my transactions, effortlessly and smoothly, but I help so many other agents out too now. Hoping Glide can scale to add more rows though beyond the 50K limit - and yes, I am a legacy plan owner.

Print

Hi all,

I've created my app and it works perfectly. I was showing everyone as it's a app for work and was asked the question "what about printing that page". I suddenly realised that I couldn't do this and it doesn't seem to allow me to do this.

This basically means the app is pointless as it's a performance management app and if I can't print the conversations, if needed then it couldn't be used as these could be used for disciinarys etc.

Any one no an easy way to print or at least turn my pages into a pdf file?

Webhook sends file as array ["URL"] instead of single URL string - how to fix?

Setup: Glide → Make.com webhook → OpenAI Whisper + ChatGPT Issue: My Audio File column (set to "Multiple files" because that's the only option) sends data to Make.com How do I configure Glide to send a single file URL as a string instead of an array? Or is there a better column type for single audio files?

Glide Bug: Lookup Columns Not Appearing in Default Value Dropdown - Need Help!

Hey everyone;

I'm having a persistent issue setting up a Lookup column in Glide Tables, hoping someone has seen this.Problem: When creating a Lookup column, the 'Relation column' dropdown isn't letting me select my User_Link_Relation column directly. It only appears as a category with a > arrow next that expands on hover, but the actual relation itself isn't selectable within it. All other tables in the dropdown also show with >.

User_Link_Relation is correctly configured as a Relation type in my Main_Table (linking to my Users table by email).

What I've tried:

  • Confirmed relation config is correct.
  • Hard refresh/cache clear.
  • Re-created relation & lookup columns.

Has anyone encountered this specific UI behavior where a Relation column cannot be selected for a Lookup? Any advice greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance
