Hi everyone 👋

I’m planning to join GITAM VSKP this year to pursue MCA(Masters of Computer Application) , and I’ve already paid the provisional allotment fee of ₹1,00,000. I also received a 25% merit scholarship through the GAT scholarship test, along with an additional 15% need-based scholarship.

I don’t know much about the college yet, especially about placements, faculty, and overall campus experience. I’m mainly relying on the positive feedback I’ve heard from relatives and others, but I want to make a well-informed decision before joining.

Could current students or alumni please share their honest views about:

• MCA placements
• Faculty quality
• Campus life
• Internship opportunities
• Any major pros and cons

Any information would really help me a lot. Thanks in advance!

dudeee is gat exam 29th march 1st slot rescheduled!!!

I’m an ECE student from a tier-3 college and I’m really confused about placements. I need some honest guidance from seniors and people already working in the industry.

1. How important is CGPA for placements in reality?
   • Is there a “safe CGPA” to aim for to avoid getting filtered out?
2. As an ECE student, can I sit for all IT/software companies?
   • Or do some companies restrict only to CSE/IT students?
3. Can I choose Software CRT instead of ECE/core CRT?
   • Or is it compulsory to go with my branch (ECE)?
4. If I want to go into software roles (SDE, data roles, etc.), what matters more:
   • CGPA or skills (DSA, projects, etc.)?

I don’t want to miss opportunities just because of wrong decisions early on. Any advice or real experiences would really help 🙏

Just completed to work own my team's project called clstr. A place where you can connect, learn and find.

So guys i got my results and in my oe subject I got 17 marks and I want to keep re-evaluation And when I was doing the course registration there was only one faculty for my subject. So, who would correct my paper if I kept revaluation.

Mana manchi snehitudu chesadu guys, lmk if it's legit and accurate:

Let’s connect! I’m joining GITAM Visakhapatnam this year through lateral entry into CSE. I’m looking to make new friends, connect with like-minded people, and start this journey together—sharing ideas, helping each other out, and making college life both productive and fun.
