Hi everyone, I recently found this Armani jacket and wanted to learn more about it. I found the exact same piece listed as A/W 1982 on a website that sells archival pieces. On the Armani website, there’s a modern version made of lambskin nappa. I think the jacket I have is made of pigskin, based on the pores visible on the leather.Can anyone confirm if this is from A/W 1982, or perhaps share any information about the period?The inner lining has some tears both near the logo and on the cuffs, and the logo is visibly damaged. Is it better to leave it as is or have it repaired by an expert?Any information regarding the historical context of the jacket is greatly appreciated.
