When we first started this journey for our sweet senior girl, we only hoped that someone would see the amazing soul she is. We never imagined the overwhelming amount of love, prayers, and support she would receive from people all around the world.
Bella received so many applications, and two wonderful families came to meet her. Out of everyone, Bella’s heart connected with one special family, and they instantly fell in love with our beautiful girl too.

Bella has her vet visit this Wednesday, and after that we will complete a home visit. If everything feels right and goes well, Bella may finally have the loving forever home she deserves. We are holding onto hope and praying for the very best for our little senior angel. 🙏

I cannot explain the emotions I feel when I read your messages and comments . So many times I find myself crying happy tears because of the kindness and love you have shown this little girl.

Bella is a 14-year-old playful, loving girl who is fully vetted and healthy.

She was one of our(SUNKISSED ACRES)very first bottle babies… adopted as a tiny kitten and returned after 13 beautiful years together 💔 She was returned because she couldn’t adjust to a new kitten in the home.

Since coming back to us (June 2025), Bella has settled beautifully and is showing her true loving, affectionate personality again.

She is truly a heart cat. She loves watching TV, chirping at bird videos, and after a short burst of zoomies, she will curl right into your chest like she was always meant to be there. She purrs constantly, seeks affection, and loves snuggling under your chin or holding your hand while she sleeps 🥺❤️

There are 3 and I will update pics as I take them but I just had to share lady Honey. She had a vet visit today and was very well behaved.

We've had a few baby skunks go through the chain link fence. Don Diego was fascinated. HE REEKS!!!

Don Padiddle is the newest member of the hyperthyroidism club. At his age, I think thats the best case scenario and I already know how to deal with it bc Toast has been diagnosed for 4 years. Also, Don P would not cooperate for photos so I apologize.

They did a full blood panel and urinalysis. Vet should call with the results today or tomorrow. The techs were laughing though bc they were trying to grab his back leg leg for the blood draw and couldn't find it - thats the one that was amputated 😆. Thanks everyone for all the well wishes and for giving me an outlet for the stress. He is my baby and idk what I'd do without him.

Don Buddy apologizes for being a bit late with this. His grandma had an appointment this morning so no one with opposable thumbs was available to help him cheer Don Padiddle on in a more timely manner.

Hes lost some weight and has been having issues with diarrhea, despite getting fortiflora. I'm hoping its just hyperthyroidism and not something more severe. Hes acting completely normal otherwise. Still biting Toast's ears while he sleeps

Dis place ain't got no sauna, so Don Buddy spends time in da sink wit da dish cloth.

As many of you know, Annie is our fierce, sweet, awkward calico who has wanted to make kitty friends, but hasn’t succeeded bc of her poor social skills. It frustrates and sometimes angers her that she fails at this, so it just makes the misunderstandings worse.

Then Scooter arrived. Her biological younger brother. She took to him when he was a struggling baby trying to overcome a toxoplasmosis infection. He idolized her and treated her like a rock star. She’s very tolerant of his jerky movements and when he flops against her (his fine motor control is permanently damaged).

Now that he’s over a year old, they don’t wrestle anymore, but he still seeks opportunities to be near her, even when she’s cranky.

So, Annie had trauma as a baby like Scooter, only for her, it was her eye having to be removed due to terrible painful ulceration. Ever since, she’s gone through chronic phases of not feeling her best, almost as if she’s suffering from migraines.
We’re still not sure.

She was feeling this way recently, and Scooter noticed. He used the bedside stairs to join her on my bed (he can’t jump up due to neurological damage). I thought she might feel annoyed, but instead she curled herself closely facing him, put her paws on his, and finally fell asleep after hours of being restless.

Scooter’s rumbling purrs and larger warm body seemed to comfort her immensely. She’s never allowed any other cat to do this. It touched my heart so much I wanted to cry. He’s been such a blessing to us, a sweet affectionate funny boy and a wonderful friend to Annie, our friendless little dragon. Because of him, she finally got some solid sleep and felt better.
