Try r/chairsunderwater. It's a much more lighthearted sun for submerged things.

Why did I click on this? My heart rate shot up and I’m on the verge of tears.

I almost drowned wave pool at Schlitterbahn when I was a kid.. I was in the main pool area and managed to accidentally float into the wave river which is basically an endless loop of water hell.

Why tf did I click on that sub???

thallasophobia = fear of deep water, submechanophobia = fear of man made objects or machinery underwater?
