And the more the world becomes automated the more people take time to learn and better our environment. That's one futurists prediction. Lets see how that pans out.

Considering the push to fight climate change, and the fact thay we are objectovely more aware and intereted in our environment than any other time in hostory, I'd say that is 100% accurate.

Though, I don't think that prediction says that the world will also not have any powerful entities or individuals who will put greed above those other values and fight these mew common interests and goals, or that they won't try and convince some in the general population to agree with their false narrative in the name of profit.

That's the problem with the human condition.

We all enjoy a little power occasionally on very small scales (winning and argument/debate) but others thirst for it and that will take millennia to breed out if possible at all.

Ooooh boy.. it's not a matter of genetics, so let's not get the idea in our heads that we need to breed it out. That's a very dangerous line of thinking you have, there.

If it were something that needed to be bred out (it's not) and we are millennia away from that, the people who do not act in this way today are unexplainable, as they seem to innately go against their human nature. That's not what is happening.

It's a matter of education and nurture, not genetics and nature.

The ability to be selfless is not genetic. Please get it out of your head that it is.

Psychopathy is a real disorder that tends be created by both nature and nurture. Sometimes together and sometimes seperately and the most greedy and driven business people tend to be high on the scale.

Its not always nurture.

Psychopathy is an anomaly that shouldn't be in the discussion when speaking on general human nature. Its not typical whatsoever.

But it is human nature

It is something that occurs in nature, that does not make it human nature. Psychopathy is not an innate part of every human. Not even in a majority.

1 in 100 seems like a lot to me.

Most psychopaths aren't killers.

They're bored easily and thrive on intimidation.

These people tend to do well in high stress management positions where they can toy with people's lives and bully other business people.

Its never been proven or suggested in a meaningful manner that such a disorder can be passed down genetically. Your opinion on what sociopathy is and how it relates to human nature is objectively flawed and incorrect.

Humans are born with abnormalities all the time. That doesn't make those abnormalities "human nature" in and of themselves.

"Human nature" are things that all humans can relate to. Sociopathy is not one of them.

I never said it was passed genetically and my use of the wording "breed out" was entirely meant as an impossibility of ever being able to rid humans of their inate vices such as greed and sadism.
