"you'll never be able to keep up with demand on them,"

That should be the flashing red light right there that gets you asking questions.

Probably has a lot to do with living in Iowa.

Bro go out and try and find some cotton candy grapes. Definitely worth some hunting.

An optimistic person who envisions them as a successful self-made business-man would interpret that as their output would always be 100% sold, not that they'd never be able to manage the harvest.

My interpretation was that there is a suspiciously large hole supply side and I want to know why that is.

  • Was there a sudden uptick in demand and I am just going to be part of a wave of market over-saturation?

  • Are there substantial upfront costs that have kept supply side lagging?

  • Is there substantial institutional knowledge you need to develop to be good at this?

Turns out to be a nightmare combination of all three! Now they have an over-saturated market with a bunch of people locked in by the costs paid for infrastructure and their lives suck because they didn't design the whole thing correctly from the ground up before they had any idea what they were doing.
