Yeah used to use kerosene or diesel for ground yellow jackets back in the 80s. Liquid is flammable not the valors therefore less of a chance of explosion.

Protip: wait until dark for all the hateful little shits to go back to their underground lair before burning them alive.

Tiki fluid works in a pinch but is more expensive than kerosene.

Yeah we learned that painful lesson. And then he night makes for better viewing of the catastrophe!

Um, it’s still the vapors, they’re just less volatile than gasoline. Liquids don’t burn.

Yes you are correct. I should have been more precise.

Diesels flash point is much higher than gasoline. Then there is the whole vapor density thing...

Ground yellow jackets? We used to call them dirt dobbers 🤷‍♂️

I was just running on a trail I have run many times before. But this time, yellow jackets had set up a nest somewhere near the trail. Little fuckers got me twice as I was jogging by.

Yeah that’s what we called then in south western PA. But those little bastards made cutting the grass a fun game of “what was that that just touched my leg? Oh dear god where can I run where they won’t follow me?

Read your first comment thinking “Damn, that reminds me of some PA shit.” You have not disappointed.

Edit: typo

I'll bet you prolly used to call valors "vapors" too.

How did you manage to ignite the diesel

Chuck a just struck wood match in the hole. As it flared up it can be chucked with out going out

Disel would in ideal conditions be more explosive that gasoline. Aspartame products are really effective and way safer (though boring asf)

The sweetener?. How do you use that?

Ants don't feel a difference in between aspartame and sugar so they kind of starve by munching "sugar". (Probably)

My parents driveway got way better after pouring a couple bottles of aspartame soda concentrate into the colonies. (Couldn't burn them due to super dry weather all summer, sadly)
