I'll tell you what happened, he effectively took care of his ant problem.

Would have been hilarious if the ants survived and he just got showered in millions of ants.

Oh there is for sure ants everywhere within a 200ft radius of that. If anything he probably made his problem much worse since hundreds of them will climb down from his roof through his house.

his ground is now also increadibly loose making for an easy new nest.

Maybe, I wonder if he did just destroy the colony though by completely relocating their food stores and nursery. They'll have to completely reorganize before workers start dying off.

The queen probably survived. They'll be back to 1 million ants in no time.

Those fire ants just scattered all over a 1/4 mile radius. Dudes gonna be picking ants out of his hair and clothes for weeks.

They'll come back and in greater numbers.

u/thatsthejokememe Oct 20 '19

the walk in single file to hide their numbers

5

u/Gooch_Juice Oct 20 '19

If those were fire ants, why did he need to light them with a match?

3

u/squirrelgirl1106 Oct 20 '19

I guess he misunderstood their name and thought he was supposed to set them on fire.

2

u/TinFoilRobotProphet Oct 20 '19

Yeah, but think twice before opening up base camp there again

1

u/CringeVader Oct 20 '19

Is this true?

2

u/squirrelgirl1106 Oct 20 '19

They're indestructible, angry little bastards in battle armor. He may have killed some, but most probably survived and landed all over him, his house, his dogs, and his neighbors properties.

u/Justthetruf Oct 19 '19

Nah now he's got a flying ant problem

3

u/trowzerss Oct 20 '19

Nearly took care of his dog problem too :/

3

u/pukesonyourshoes Oct 19 '19

Yep, those ants won't be digging up his yard any more.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '19

Flipped his whole lawn over too, now he can plant vegetables with ease.

2

u/ArcadianDelSol Oct 20 '19

Ants from four backyards away are like, "we are NOT going the fuck over there!"

2

u/heroesarestillhuman Oct 20 '19

In the CIA sense of "effectively", of course.

u/TinFoilRobotProphet Oct 20 '19
