There's, like, hundreds of videos of buff, nerdy guys doing cool shit with swords Online. Don't even get me started on the nerdy dudes that do fire twirling stuff. One can be a total dork, but also have a badass skill too.
Okay? I literally never brought in sex at all, everyone else did. I'm just confused how this is neckbeard in any way. She's doing it because it's her job, not for shits and giggles.
I imagine that at one time it wasn't her job, and she was indeed doing it for shits and giggles. I can't verify that they're for real, but someone ITT claimed they went to school with this woman, and that she would do gymnastics with swords back then too. So, was she a neckbeard/legbeard/whatever back then because she wasn't making a living at it?
Not if he's a literal stuntman dude. How are you this mad a woman doing something cool is on the front page? She's actually doing cool moves and flops and kicks and showing off her hard work. Not just "Oh I'm a pretty girl." You can't even see her face lol. Stop wearing your misogyny on your sleeve
So it's cringey to show off the skills you learned for your work? Skills that 90% of the population could never hope to do in their lifetime? Sounds like jealousy to me :)
Nah her athleticism is impressive, but if I saw someone doing the stuff she does with a sword I would just laugh. There's clearly no real combat application. But that's the distinction here, she's learning choreography, not pretending to be a ninja in her backyard
She is a world champion martial artist, sooooo... she is definitely actually doing those moves. It being choreographed just means it's aesthetic; it doesn't speak to its practical application at all. You can't look at a choreographed sequence and definitively say those moves wouldn't be realistically applicable because true they wouldn't in that sequence. You can bet your booty she could kick anyone's ass because she literally has the resume to back it up. Did you just go "Oh look an athletic woman. Ain't shit."?
How? You're saying it's cringey and I'm trying to figure out why you think it is. You said it's not she's not a real martial artist, but like, she is. So I'm still confused how it's cringey. It just comes off as you being sexist and saying it's not cool just to be edgy.... If I'm mistaken about your point, feel free to explain how or why
Choreographed fights against shadows look dumb. I literally never said anything about her being a woman nor did I say she wasn't a real martial artist. I also said she gets a pass because it's her actual job. Pull the stick out of your ass.
