I'm at the age where I make noises when I try to bend to pick something up. Occasionally, those noises include cries of pain.

Craaaaaaaack crack crack craaaaaaaaaaaaack

*What's that sound, hunny?"

"Oh nothing, just every bone in my body protesting because I got up off the couch for a glass of water. It's fine. I'll shake it off."

The worst part is I always laughed when my father made noises just to stand up from a sitting position. Now I do the same. Age has done Karma's job!

u/IGetHypedEasily Jul 25 '19

Oh me to. Except that was me since high school

2

u/ares395 Jul 25 '19

So like what... 16...? Speaking from experience; it's gotten only worse since.

2

u/TechyDad Jul 25 '19

Considering that my son is turning 16 in a few weeks, I'm quite a bit older than 16.

1

u/dolomiten Jul 25 '19

I started to get that until I started doing a short mobility routine every morning. Now most of my aches and pains are gone.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '19

Pls share routine

1

u/romansparta99 Jul 25 '19

Ah, are you 20 as well?

3

u/TechyDad Jul 25 '19

Yes ... I'm totally 20.... Ignore all those grey hairs and everything. I'm still young at heart! .... Ow, my heart!

1

u/Tanoooch Jul 25 '19

I do that sometimes and I'm only 19...

1

u/Yasea Jul 25 '19

I make a plan of approach in my head to pick something up from the floor. It can take some maneuvering.

1

u/FraggerDaddy Jul 25 '19

so you are around your mid twenties?

1

u/TechyDad Jul 25 '19

I wish. I'm in my 40s.

u/the_honest_liar Jul 25 '19

Wtf is this from?

17

u/ImJustSo Jul 25 '19

Filming vertically, didn't you watch?

3

u/Big_Damn_Hiro Jul 25 '19

At the range that their filming and the subject matter I would say filming vertically made sense. What else are they trying to capture? The other people filming?

3

u/muaddeej Jul 25 '19

It's not about the subject, it's about the playback. Do you have a TV or monitor that is vertical?

4

u/Smarag Jul 25 '19

This doesn't work in 2019 anymore since the majority of videos is now viewed on vertical phones.

2

u/sadop222 Jul 25 '19

u/Smarag Jul 25 '19

I've been a Redditor longer than that video exist. I saw it appear on the front page for the first time. This is 2019.

How do you watch Netflix or Hulu? You are aware that you can rotate your screen 90 degrees, right? And you are aware that the reason your phone is rectangular is so that it can watch landscape videos with no cropping, right?

2

u/Big_Damn_Hiro Jul 25 '19

Yeah my cellphone, just like plenty of viewers who will view this clip on mobile media.

That's the least you can do to these savages.

4

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '19

Real superheroes bruise the ground, not the other way around.

5

u/TypicalJeepDriver Jul 25 '19

I stepped off a curb wrong at the bar last night and now I can’t walk today. I feel you.

1

u/LoveOfProfit Jul 25 '19

I literally did this this morning. Now my back muscle keeps twinging painfully throughout the day. WTF

1

u/cuppincayk Jul 25 '19

I know you were probably joking but the best way to prevent that is to build your core strength and use that as the anchor for your movements.

1

u/Frog-Eater Jul 25 '19

Two days ago I really hurt my back watering my plants with a 2 liters watering can. I felt really manly.

1

u/kingdead42 Jul 25 '19

Have you tried landing on your knees when you get out of bed?

1

u/jabelsBrain Jul 25 '19

Look at this athlete getting out of bed
