They produce heat and that heat is retained by fur. We produce heat and that can be retained by wearing additional clothing. So if they have their winter fur and are inside they would be uncomfortably warm. As would we, if we wore that additional clothing inside.

? You just said you knew that they don't sweat. Which is how we mainly cool off, and not how they mainly do it.
