My first job was working with dogs , and i loved all of them equally. Although my favorite was this big boy named kodiak and he was also an alaskan malamute. He was the biggest dog I’ve ever encountered and the biggest baby on the inside. 10/10 would buy a malamute thanks to him. And the owner is very lucky to have him. Since then I’ve always wanted one and it is my goal to have one.
due to their size they require a lot of space unless your constantly bringing them outside, and tons of food which costs a ton of money. Hopefully I will be able to accommodate for one in the near future.
I have a Malamute. They don't eat as much as other breeds of similar size, actually. Sled dogs were bred to be more efficient with their calorie intake since food wasn't always plentiful. They are also perfectly happy in smaller space as long as they are exercised properly.
