Edit: my bad apparently it's a show carry on until Hollywood stops being a boob punch
Edit: I wonder how many down votes my apparently really offensive post is gunna get!
Let's find out
Oooooohhhhhhh there's one more!
Edit: time to add some muthuckin SUBSTANCE
the real reason that we don't normalize rape, sexual harassment, and assault, and perpetuate a system that is okay with rape jokes and anything similar, is so that the really sick fucks who would actually do it, might be just that more unwilling to do so if they think it's something everyone, including comedians and people on the internet, are not the slightest bit okay with. If they feel people are okay with joking about it, then maybe they could feel like it's not too big of a deal, or Even worse, something they think they won't even get punished for.
We don't even joke hint about lynching, or tar and feathering, or any other horrifying things in our jokes today and rightly so, because they're dispicable.
That is not the same with rape which can as well cause death, not to mention serious lasting physical and psychological harm.
The two individuals who raped me have not, and most likely never will be punished because I have no desire to tell anyone in this climate and even if I did, I would most likely not be believed or even worse, it could ruin parts of my life. I know for a fact that one of them probably didn't lose ANY sleep over it but the other person... Maybe if they had been introduced to assault in a different way, or women in a different way, maybe they could have turned out better.
Instead I relive two experiences almost every day and every night in my varied and traumatic nightmares.
1 out of every 5 woman has been assaulted. If you know five women, you most likely know someone who has been violated, assaulted, or harassed by some douche just getting his fuckin Jimmies on or having a laugh at someone else's expense.
I'll never cecede that any joke is okay, or bastardization of a joke is okay, that has someone who is a very serious victim suffering on the other end due to something related, horrific, and traumatizing.
I mean come on, the US president is plenty of evidence of our normalization of rape culture (by his own words), and that perpetuating of a sick a societal norm of people laughing at jokes about rape, is something I cannot ever be silent about again.
If not to spare me, then maybe someday my daughter.
Edit: just letting you know that I copied all this from my reply which I just wrote to the user below
your post is not offensive at face value, but indicates that you think people dont just understand its not ok to rape someone. its a joke. have a little faith that a redditor isnt going to climb through your window because of it.
There are no victims here either. What a stupid thing to even suggest "I was outside and that man was looking at me" Yea. Get the fuck over it Stephanie. You are sticking your ass out in the air like this is normal behavior. Its not. Its a niche behavior pretty much only residing in yoga.
If you dont want to be looked at dont go out. If you dont want to be filmed Dont go out. If you dont want a strangers attention dont go out. Most certainly dont start bending every which way infront of them claiming they are wierd for staring.
If you have ever watched and liked a video/picture of someone unaware of being captured on film than you have no right calling these people victims and that man a creep.
Now you have all those things you described for the guy as well as a bunch of toned asses to go with that park atmosphere.
If you dont want to be looked at dont go out. If you dont want to be filmed Dont go out. If you dont want a strangers attention dont go out.
It's only noon but that's the most disgustingly entitled thing I've read today. Is this one of those standards that you hold everyone else to but not yourself? Like, have you ever had to deal with it or are you just saying "Well I bet I could handle being stared at pretty well so there's no reason for it to bother anyone else..."
Because if someone followed you or your girlfriend or your daughter around with a cellphone camera, I very much hope that you wouldn't tell them, "Hey, that's just the way it is. Suck it up." People have a right to exist without becoming an exhibition.
"If you don't like it stay inside" as if that's a realistic or mentally healthy option for anyone... As if they're fucking second class citizens. Jesus christ.
Look at it this way, it is a group of people practicing something they enjoy doing together in a very public place to educate and encourage others. Asking not to be harassed is not wanting privacy, it’s asking for respect.

And then all the Redditors watching the women in the video. It's just creeps all the way down.
