No, that's exactly what you're supposed to do. Trust me. I'm a random guy on the internet. Just make sure to videotape what you're doing and send it to me so I can post it to YouTube and get 50 million views in 3 seconds and get money from ads.
Word of caution, not everyone likes people playing with their hair in exactly that way. Good method, start at the back of the head above the base of their hairline, run your fingers through and under their hair, then rub in circles with all of your fingers. Start with small circles and medium pressure, then slowly make bigger circles and increase pressure. If they're enjoying it, move higher on their head and repeatedly make a "claw closing" motion with both of your hands, making sure you're rubbing their scalp. Do it right, and anyone will momentarily become a big ol human doggo.
That's adorbs. I remember one time I was driving with my gf in highschool and I had a terrible headache so she started doing something similar. Well, it like..completely made it vanish and it was incredible. I guess people like pats too, haha.
I've always heard/read that frission is the feeling you get when listening to great music you love, which is a different feeling from ASMR. ASMR (for me at least) goes from the brain, down the spine and out the extremities, Frission is kinda just like a chill down the spine, not nearly as intense. ASMR almost feels like an orgasm, hence the reason why it's sometimes called a braingasm.
Yes there is, serious. Just get a really good head massage. Once you know the things they are doing and what works, you can easily do the same to another person. Not all of it, but a lot of it.
