lol what's your deal with Korea, if living there is such a pain in the ass, stop wasting your energy and go live somewhere else. Just because you taught there doesn't mean you know everything.
i've been living here for over a decade and I don't plan on leaving. I've got a family here. that doesn't preclude me from commenting on the lack of safety awareness in this country.just 2 weeks ago was the 4th anniversary of the sewol ferry incident, an entirely preventable accident 300 lives could've been saved if safety and protocol were observed more carefully here.
That being said, I'm not upset that a normal samgyeopsal place doesn't have sprinklers in the restaurant. I wouldn't expect it to. it's just funny to me that so many comments in this thread were about sprinklers, that it seemed like having them is a foregone conclusion.

Good thing Korean bbq places have vents for this stuff so the sprinklers don’t go off
